Havent run it with the new power yet, need to do a few other things first.

Need surge tank, valve springs and most importantly new tailshaft, so i can launch it properly without going bang smile.gif

It did run 12.33@112mph stock, so im hoping for at least 11.2 to 11.5 range

Yeah bang for buck, just cant beat these

As I always say when one shows up on here-not what I'd buy, but massive respect for the straight line poke of these things.

Nope. I'm sure they're fine in the corners too, but it's the straight line performance that is standout for the price.

Huh? Why the hate? All I said was that I have massive respect for their straight line performance. What's wrong with that? Yes, stock for stock an F6 310 is slightly faster (.4) in the 1/4 than my car. I have no problem with that. Not my thing, but they are great value.

Didn't notice the plates! Very good-used some imagination, and didn't need to add any stupid numbers or anything.
As for 1/4 times-I've got a guy from Viezu (I'd never heard of them, but they seem to be reputable http://www.viezu.com) having a crack at my car next week-he seems to think he can get 25hp (?) out of it with a tune. Then next year with the Renntech airbox and headers, I should be running about the same times (mid 11s) as that...
    I hope!

    ...

I wish my car was as easy to get power out of. NA FTL sad.gif

I only paid 58k for mine with leather, argents, reverse cameras and mats, that was an awesome deal though, if there are still some around you can get them for 60k driveaway

Stock was 275rwkw after mods 383rwkw, 108rwkw gain for $6,900, awesome bang for buck, the gains are all the way through the rev range too, mid range is nuts

Nice, yeah been running 342rwkw/850nm for a few years on my BAII cost me about 5k for all my mods was just curious thinking hard about upgrading in a year or two. Cant decide on F6 as the 5.0 supercharged GT is vey tempting haha

Jesus those things are good bang for buck. Right up there with the Megane RS (for totally different reasons) that I just found out go new for only 40k!

"Powering the F6 is an insanely brutal – yet smooth – 310kW, inline-six-cylinder, turbocharged 4.0-litre engine..."

    Not 310kw... anymore.

No hate wolfman biggrin.gif Reckon there is the taxi stigma still associated with these things, personally a car like this is better value then a car with Badge that you have 4 or more times tunes.gif

Depends how you define "value" I suppose. If all you are after is bang for buck, then like I said, F6s are winners. I can't think of much else in the price range that even comes close.

    No,
there are a number of reasons that they don't interest me.
Credit where it's due though-they are fast for what you pay, for sure.

Huh? I'm really not following you. Try what? I'd rather spend 10k and put a SC on my existing motor (many do) and be faster:

It's not like you're going to convince me to buy one. They are damn good bang for the buck, but not something I'm interested in.
