cheers man, sorry for hi-jacking your thread too. yeah i dont love how 'chromey' they are and never thought of that, think theyre a sealed unit tho.

Got rancho adjustables (which are a wank really) all round so 2 inch suspension, and 2 inch body aswell. Theyre bighorns and actaully measure out closer to 34's but with some massaging they turn full lock fine and they will only lightly scrub if i hit an obstacle with too much speed

SAS = Solid axle swap a car with solid axle suspension already never has the term SAS applied to it.

    Looks good dude.

I have just done a leaf SAS to the same model as yours. If i had to do it again, i would do an 80 series or Bundera coil swap. The leaf kits you can buy dont fit properly as the chassis angle seems to be different to early models. If you got the earlier pre 1992 80 series front end, you get the high pinion hilux style centre, your 15" wheels still fit over the 80 series brakes, and you dont have to worry about doing brake spacers and different disc rotors (like when you use an early solid axle to make it wide track). If you need to know more, just message me.
