Been a bit dead in here lately, how are everyones cars going? When do you think they will be on the road for some cruising? Cheers! . CHrysler stuff for the 265 - New 465 holley carby, new cain hemi inlet manifold (ceramic coated), and a 2" piece of billet that has been CNC machined into a smooth flowing spacer :-) . Not pictured, but also have pacemaker extractors, and a decent length of heat wrap for the pipes. Also picked up an early model distributer to piss the electronic lean burn business off, and a Bosch HEI module to run it. Also - my coffee table :-) |

Me and a mate rent a 70's mansion. 5 acres, 3 sheds with a set of ramps i can drive a car up onto and have room to stand under and do services/gearboxes etc, PLUS a double garage. Huge pool. AND i have a scale version of the top gear track in the back yard haha... |

Theres plastic engine blocks on ebay for mock up, would be sweet to use one as a table, about $500 though |

Was $50 and its got virgin bores - so not a bad block for if i actually had to use it! I use the bores as remote holders. |

Fuck its annoying trying to sit and engine/gearbox on a pallet as one. How the fuck do people do it? And how the shit do you get the engine actually onto the pallet, stupid fucking legs on the engine crane are always in the way. I've resorted to resting the pallet on the legs but now it wants to tip off the front as the motor is heavier than the gearbox. |

Easier if you have a ute to load engine onto pallet, have the pallet in the tray, the crane legs can move uner the ute, and the pallet will already be loaded obviously. |

The spacer is just an ebay item dude. Can get them in 1" or 2", i went 1" for bonnet clearance. THey are from Procomp Motorsport. Bit of a hit and miss brand quality wise, but theres not a lot that can go wrong with a spacer! |

Awesome bobby! Do you have a link to the one you bought? I can only find bakolite ones.. Cheers Just google carb spacer, there were about 20 of them. Latest bit of playing around - Modified the inlet manifold to match up perfectly with the spacer, as well as removed the bridge (??) to fit the plenum pig. |

Bakolite is a heat insulater, so yes they do keep carby cooler to an extent. However i couldnt find a bakolite one that has been machined for flow like the alloy one i bought. The one i bought isnt just a spacer, it is machined for flow. Matches up with the carby and directs the flow to the pig etc. |

I've got a crane an stand you can use if you want. I'm on the southside. Will be home from work on Tuesday. Hopefully I won't need it for a while. Up to you dude. Cheers for the offer, unfortunately I need it for this weekend though. Looks like I'll just have to buy one... $275 to hire one for a week from Kennards - ridiculous! |
