So I need a roadworthy, its for my Rodeo, just to get it changed into my name, as ive been driving it for the last six months on the previous guys name.

Its not that bad of a ute, tyres arnt the best but its not a shitbox..i just dont think it would pass a really strict roadworthy, so if anyone knows someone mobile, or anyone that will do one for that matter, let me know smile.gif

Not true, depends on who the guy is. Had a guy from auto king go over my mates R31 Wagon hard out whereas the guy i used to use was pretty easy going. Its a big company with many employees.

EDIT: Just saw your Sig! laugh.gif

If this violates any of the forum rules i'll be sure to take it down if you don't. As i've seen many a build threads from different forums posted and not taken down I thought it would be ok.

Small update - charger is on finally and appears to be working!

Not plumbed up yet (obviously) and still have a lot of work to go with the engine / engine bay, but yeah... I was kinda excited to hear it come back to life after all this time.

Also - you can vaguely see the power steering pump underneath it - the rack and pinion is all working fine now too.

Monaro454

nice work Jordan..... now you just need to get cracking and plumb it up!! HURRY UP!!!!!!

Cheviot Strikers

don't think so (but then I have been wrong once before so I am told). eek3.gif

they are a cheviot rim yes, think they are called 'challenger' they are what they use on HQ racecars.

bloody aweful rims!!

Warney, wouldn't pay $300 for them unless they were in primo condition with new tyres.

find yourself a nice set of rims.

lil_bobby_260
Post #1913

Search eBay for cheviot strikers. There is a couple of sets in there. Pretty ugly rim tho, but not super common I guess. Not as common as kidney mags, hot-wires or 12 slotters at least.

Challenger rims are like the old bathurst globe rim , common on XBGT and XC Cobra

Challengers have a sunken style spoke look to them and are made by Performance.

at the moment, not much sad.gif back at uni after two year hiatus.
the triumph and the mini are pretty budget builds though, i got a replacement chassis for $200 and the bodyshell was lying in the back of a british car place in melbourne for a grand.
