Well, it's do-able, it just won't ever be very easy due to the older and more comfort designed suspension geometry. I reckon you'd need custom tie rod ends and some kind of castor adjustment as you'll need a shit-ton of steering lock to get that thing around quickly sideways. Lock the diff too probably unless you can afford a KAAZ LSD. Ummmm, maybe some stiff swaybars too to help it transfer the weight better. The only other Ford i've seen drifting was an EA that had a 1jzgte conversion done to it. Stock borg warner rear diff though, just welded up. |

I think it"s quite funny that alot of people think that drifting can only be done in an import or similar. Drifting is all about driver control. Not " i'll rip everything out out my car and make it weigh 200kgs lighter so it'll slide easier." Just about anything can be drifted as long as you know how to drive propoerly and know the limits of the car you're driving. there is an xe falcon 6 cyl manual on youtube somewhere that does what i think a good job of drifting. Good luck with it and have FUN. |

ignore all the jap lovers, there is an xf wagon that drifts quite well and also a ute that has been drifting down south. |
