Engine: 3.8L - 6cyl

Exhaust: Redback 2&half Inch

Suspension: Lovell Springs

Wheels: 20ez with Whitewalls

Modifications: not many, less is more. i just keep it clean, and fill the tank smile.gif

Stereo Audio / Visual: Kenwood headunit, Alpine Type R speakers, Option Audio 1000w mono block amp, 1500w JBL sub.

Estimated Power: enough to get by... i don't need an eight, they chew fuel & rego/insurance sucks balls so six will do me fine smile.gif

Hey guys this is my Series 2 WH Statesman, recently got this.. and ive spent a long time fixing little pain in the ass things, that should need fixing...
The previous owner was a low breed with zero cash so you can only imagine the state this was in.....
General maintenance wasnt his strong point.

Anyway Ive cleaned it up, and here it is.

*all opinions welcome, I realise the target audience on boost dislike holden so fire away thumbsup.gif

Yeah i dislike chrome rims but these arent so "dinerplate" so I like them...
I think they are acceptable on a statesman coz of all the chrome bits.. but would look odd on a standard commodore..

I just can't get excited about 6 cylinder versions of these, sorry.

He is also calling you a liar, given that he portrays you as someone who has 'let the car go' maintenance wise, yet your add states it only just had a major service?

X2 v8's arent that bad on fuel, i can get my stato down to 12 litres per 100 around town and 10 per 100 on the highway...not bad for a cammed ls1...

But its still a pretty tidy stato mate, goodjob smile.gif

Fuel isn't the only thing with a V8. It's been a while since I had my V8 Statesman but I am assuming the rego now would have to be nearly 1k. Close?

Really nice looking Stato mate. Well done on the rehab.

Just got my rego renewal form yesterday just over 500 for 6 months or just under 1k for a year...its not that much more expensive, id rather pay the extra insurance and rego and have a tough v8 than save a couple of hundred bucks and have a 6...but still a very clean car, regardless of what motors in it smile.gif

Not a fan of the rims or the lack of LS1 but otherwise it is a very clean cruiser.

^^^ This man knows. My Clubsport doesn't really use anymore fuel than what my old VR V6 did, maybe 1L/100 but given it has twice the power that's a fair trade off.

Got my rego renewal yesterday. $97X.XX for 12months.

I do miss the fun of owning a V8 but this is my daily, and i do about 130k's a day...... so im happy with the lack of LS1 fuel prices today are criminal.

The wheels are on my list of things to change, I did the whitewalls thinking it would take the focus off them but mehhh LOL.

VY Signature 19's with Whitewalls is what i really want on there but people want copious amounts of cash for them.... & I cant justify that much moolah for stock rims... no matter how mint they are smile.gif

I'm not a fan of the car, but I can appreciate the effort you've put into it.

    Good luck with it.
