Engine: 5.7L LS1

[b]Exhaust: pacemaker stainless 4 into 1 extractors, into twin 2.5" x force system, X pipe, high flow mufflers, twin stainless 3" dump tips

[b]Suspension: sssl in the rear ssl in the front, shortened shocks, brand new shocks in the rear, rides nicely for a car this low, does not scrub at all.

Wheels: genuine hsv vz r8 wheels, freshly powdercoated gloss black

Modifications: fibreglass otr, mafless tuned

Estimated Power: 225-230rwkw, was alot quicker once it was tuned, and better on fuel, gets down to 7.0L/100ks on the highway, and around 10.5 around town.

malwood option 3 hd clutch with billet flywheel.

    yellow now with the black wheels, done a shit job though was howling wind, wheels are coming off for me to have another go at them

    damb there nice fuel figueres i'm lucky to get 14.5l highway and yeah fark nose what for around town


    and on topic nice ute mate looks good not sure on the yellow but each to there own

    yer i never reset my trip meter, and had cruise on in 6th at 105kmh, reset it, drove around 200km and it was sitting on 6.9-7.0 i couldnt beleive my eyes, am lucky were i live aswell not having much congestian, found different fuels to make a bit of difference aswell, was getting consistantly better readings on bp 98 than caltex 98, like .5-.7+ of a litre difference per 100km

    extremely tidy ute mate...The black VZ R8 wheels suit it perfectly!
    Fuel consumption on the highway in these are awesome, as my old Twin Turbo VU SS used to sit on 7.5l/100 on the highway on 115kph at 1500rpm in 6th...

    thanks mate, i remember reading street commodores when your ute was in it, if your username is the same plates that were on it, one of the first of the gen tt kits, would have been a weapon

    not sure on the otr tbh, there are better ones out there, but for a stock cammed, bolt on motor seams to do its job fine, was tuned by steve bennet from oztrack

    Nice tidy ute. Nice fuel economy too, I average around 10.5-11.5L/100ks with mostly freeway driving.

    Haha thanks mate, yer I used to have 5sp v6 and this is better on fuel, Steves sounds mint though I loved that cammed ls1 idle, pity I beat him mamoru.gif

    Yeh it is mate, Martin Donnan helped us out with one of his GenTT kits pretty cheap, if i helped get the name out there...
    Wasnt a bad little kit for a DIY turbo kit but definitely things couldve been a bit better.

    thanks guys, will be sad to see it go, but ive enjoyed owning it and i think everyone reachs that time when they want out of this sought of car, time to pass it on to someone else who can enjoy it aswell
