did this today:

the photo's kinda don't do it justice, the wheels really set it off. bit 4 wheel drive for my liking though!!










how much do you reckon these would be worth now?





parcel shelf looks pretty good too, covered it in some fabric (16mm MDF with recessed speaker holes and 3 child restraint bilts mounted):





these are the repairs I had to sort out for the trim. door trims:

he had to layer this over with a tack board to keep the plastic separator and stitch in the pattern rather than heat moulding:





the top and sides of the front bench also got replaced... very happy with this:





might buy some polish and have a crack at shining up the paint tomorrow too..... we will see.

$400 for tyres, $275 for new rares wheel trims, what, $ 300 for the centrecaps? THEN there are the rims.........

OH, and the genuine GTS wheelnuts, which are different to normal ones and not very common at all!!

Holy shit would you even get your money back? I have only seen Gts for sale in poor condition, so i dont know how much there worth

Agree with you about the ride height and the rims looking absolutely amazing!

Except one saying will always ring true in my head.
"Red and green should not be seen" wink.gif
I can't think of a colour that would have looked better though. White would have looked odd as well. Maybe no stripe and just a sheit load of tyre shine. dunno.gif

get my money back and more..... looking at what they go for, I would be looking around $1800-$2000 (optimistic for the higher amount but then again, people will pay what they think it is worth eh?)

I also have a 5th rim with a decent tyre on it as a spare.... so realistically a set of 5 with centrecaps, 4 trims, redwalls (4 tyres) and period correct trim rings.

the saying is blue and green should never be seen.

I think I should have gone the smaller band. can get 6mm and 12mm and they guy kinda talked me into the bigger band. not as understated as I would like it.

1:74, 1:73 and 2:77's buddy. I did the right thing and got short tail centres too.

can't really do much with the rain.. cleaned up the shed though, and used an engine crane as a rotisserie.

yeah, gotten rid of a fair few (9) in the last few months.... should have checked dates on them before selling them too cheap.

It's a Calder Park Thunderdome race built motor, that's basically all i know sorry. No serious headwork, just a bit of porting really, 2 barrel manifold and an oval track 350 holley are on it aswell. Only my first car so i can't have too much done.

I pick up my doner vehicle tomorrow, picked up for a good price, im taking the drivleine out to put in the Hq. And then the plan was to put a 202/auto in the doner car,slam it,whitewall it and just give it a general tidy up and sell it.If all goes to plan i will make my money back and then some!

doesnt matter if you dont, as theres a purple Hj near my place that im sure i could steal them off.
