'93 NISSAN PULSAR N14 Ti CBU 5dr GA16DE/M

Engine:
GA16DE Manual 5speed
- Completely stock, 260000kms. Runs fine for what it is

Exhaust:
Stock

Suspension:
Stock

Wheels:
Stock w/ black and silver caps
- Anyone have any cheap mags?
Reckon some nice black 5 spoke ones with chrome outer rings would look good..?

Modifications:
Autotechnica Woodgrain/Chrome wheel (SAAS kit)
Chrome gear knob
Footwell LEDs - power on when door ajar
Few interior tweaks (Dash surround repair mostly and also moved the stereo to under the air con box), don't have any photos though

Stereo Audio / Visual:
Headdeck Sony Xplod w/AUX

6"x9" Pioneer 250w 4ohm x2 (Rear)
6" Kenwood 150w 4ohm x2 (Front doors)
2.5" Kenwood 50w 4ohm x2 (Dashboard/Centre Console)
6.5" Kenword Sub 80w 8ohm (Boot)
1200w Audio Master Amp 4/ch.
- All were given to me for free so I figured why not use them

Estimated Power:
Sloowwww. Still manages to do a skid though - So can't complain haha

Only paid $2000 for this car, and am pleasantly surprised with how it drives.
Very, very modest and reliable cheap first car.
Probably the most economic car I'll ever own, 35L gets 450-500km haha.
Manual too, which was a bonus. smile.gif

Still a few things I want to do, maybe paint up the bumpers to get rid of the blank plastic parts and make it all grey.
Same deal with the black side strips, the mirrors and the door handles and numberplate rear surround.
Reckon the door handle inners could look okay chrome too.. Perhaps?

Mags obviously, maybe exhaust updgrade, even just a new tip or something..

XENON 10K Conversion for the headlights with blue parker lights I've seen done on these before which looks pretty good.

I'm thinking the door trims would look good re-done in a darker colour but not sure how much that would cost tongue.gif
Anyone have a cheap dash surround? I heard someone was making fibreglass ones at some stage so that they wont crack,
but who ever was selling them seems to have disappeared off the net..

Anyone have any feedback or ideas for it?

    Pfft, SR16VE N1 is not that quick lol. VQ35DE is where the real fun beings. 4th gear wheel spin scares just about everyone who ever gets in my SSS lol

    That is actually terrible fuel economy for the GAy16DE. Replace the exhaust O2 sensor since the Km's it should be done every 80,000km's and while your there, fit Pacemaker Extractors for a decent power gain wink.gif

    Cheers man, and haha not happening mate. I'm not in any way wanting to tosser my car up like that.
    Thats why i was thinking of just painting up all the stock stuff, like getting rid of all the bare plastic parts and matching them up to the greay on the rest of the car.

    How do you get a 3.5L in an N14? (I'm assuming VQ35 means 3.5L?, like SR20 = 2.0L; RB26 = 2.6 etc. ?)

    My dads old solair 1995 ga16 pulsar got 500km, but that was no urban driving at all, just highway.
    Highest I've ever got on mine doing mostly urban driving is 480, lowest probs 400.
    After i only got 400 for one tank i started to try and change gears a bit earlier than 4grand haha smile.gif

    Wheres to O2 sensor, is that the one that plugs onto the front of the exhaust mounts?
    Why does it have to be changed every 80,000?

    Lol okay now I understand a bit better, just did research on what it actually does. I can't find one for a GA16DE though, all the ones I could find for sale online for for SR20DE models or N13 G16 models, not N14 tongue.gif Any ideas?

    there a reliable motor the ga 16 but bugger me there SLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW.........i just got rid of mine for 300

    Yes, 3.5L V6 motor from a late model Nissan Maxima(well, I imported mine from a USA Altima SE-R but same motor)

    The O2 sensor gets contaminated and causes the ECU to run richer than it should, especially at idle and below 3000rpm etc which is where it should be getting the best fuel economy.

    Bosch part number is: 12046 but Repco or Bursons Auto parts should be able to confirm in their catalogue
