Commodores make good family cars, that's about it. I wouldn't be shelling out hard earned $$$ on doing a commodore up when you could buy something a bit nicer for just a little bit more cash. I'm not trying to knock commodores but take it from me, I sold mine years ago to buy a ta22 celica and I wonder why I ever owned the commodore in the first place. The celica was faster, handled better, was more reliable, more fun to drive and it was cheaper to run and maintain.... And I never had one person hating on my car

Buy a commodore when you're making good money and can afford to get yourself a new SS or something.
