Got the motor going yesterday, took us hours to get the B&M shifter in because we had to customize the brackets. We were going to hook up the column auto but once we put the trans in we realizes the linkages were on the oppersite side, we opted to steal my brothers shifter and install that instead. There is no noticeable power loss when comparing it to the set up in Nathan's tonner but because of the massive cam it has no power at all down low........but it sounds fucking amazing! Its is still worth the money in my eyes, shits all over the stock 202 that came out of it. Engine bay dosent look pretty atm due to the faded paint and wiring but i will get some photos today and post up and mayber even a video

good to hear jebby, may be a better option to get a smaller cam to get some torque for the little engine. will get the stall working better and give it some better manners... you may even find an improvement in performance.

Or if that fails, hook up a 150 shot.. ? Lol

Stopped off at an exhaust shop on the way, home got them to make a slip joint where you cut it off. Got a clamp and exhaust sealant. Went on perfectly

$57 each off rare spares = $228 for 4, $285 for 5

Alloy round bar = $44 for 300mm (+ 16 postage)

Centre decals = $61 for 4

even at that price it is $107 cheaper to make my own.

not to mention there is enough material there to make 10 centrecaps, so that makes it $6/centrecap blank, $15.25 per decal = 21.25/ complete centrecap and resell a set on ebay= $200

I make $120 profit on set number 2 so I make about $18 all up and have a decent set of centrecaps..... I think the question is why WOULDN'T I make my own?

makes sense to me. and I can say that I made em myself, and a fitter and turner tells me they look, and I quote, "awesome". self satisfaction fits in there somewhere aswell.

So how do they stay on?

Are they a press fit or is there some sort of washer/nut setup that hold them on?

they have a thread in the back and bolt on with a washer behind.

I have a single hole in the centre, the rare spares one has 3 holes, 1 centre (I think this is to assist in turning it up) and 2 outer which have the bolts.

unsure on which way to go, the caps I had on the coupe were 1 bolt and were fine.

The ones i have have at least two holes in the back Ash. Unsure of a third hole, its been that long since i've seen behind the wheels. I'm almost certain there is only two holes though. They are for the big washer that holds them to the wheel.
