Nice! I was gonna go "Fucking lol at the turning circle" when I remembered that they were in America and drive on the wrong side of the road, lol, my bad. haha, don't worry - I did the same thing at the start. So cool though. Trying to figure out if I should buy a new car to tow the camaro with or spend the money on a procharger. Sold the 434.. edit: just because I think it's that damn cool - drove it to the track towing a trailer and then did a 7.60 pass. |

Check this out Jordan, one for the Nova lovers! Nah, if i wanted something like that i would have kept the 434. Gotta stay realistic Jamie, i would love a LS9... But something like a L98 with a huffer might have to do. Iunno I've started looking again for a motor for the ute and thats what i'm starting to lean towards. (l98) But they are still fairly exxy being quite a new engine that i'll most likely rip apart anyway Though the only reason i'd choose one over a LS 1/2 would be becuase of the stock heads on the L98, otherwise a LS 1/2 will be the go with aftermarket heads. Then stroke it + hang a GT-47r off the side. Are you still going to run a t56 if you end up going down the late model V8 + turbo route? IT would be fun and all while it lasts, just that most guys that build big number V8s run Autos because the manuals aren't up to the task. |

I'm not looking for big numbers so to speak. Only around 550rwhp or something like that. The T56 will be fine behind that. I'm trying to weigh up whether to get an LS1 and add heads or just go the L98... Iunno... Got a bit of time to sort that shit out anyways. this may help you decide http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/genera...ls2-vs-l98.html |

I would personally go Ash's engine route, bolt straight in, no wiring issues, easy power/torque on tap without changing much and that engine is dirt cheap and rebuilt to boot. Plus you've got bragging rights to a 500 cube big block lol For the price of Ash's BBC it's hard to argue. Though is your suspension/frames set up to handle a BBC in the front ? |

If i was going to do that, i would have kept the 434. I want fuel economy (sorta), easy power. Easy start in the morning, etc etc. Jump in and drive to brisbane ya know. It'll have new brakes, new suspension, new everything apart from motor. So yeah, thats next. |

Is a 250 pre crossflow ford motor also known as a 2v 250? The 250 2V are a rare beast of a motor 2V means 2 venturi carb (yay a fukn 2 barrel carb) Most of the early 250s and the later had a single barrel carb The XE 250 2 barrell carb engines are better |

okay maybe someone could help me out, im about to buy an unregistered car, and its only a a 20 min drive from my house but due to needing my licence for work im not keen to risk and drive it even a few kms, so how do i go about obtaining day rego? do i just apply and pay a fee to qld transport or does the car need to be visually inspected by someone from qld transport? ive bought unregd cars before just have always had them towed or previously not given a shit and just driven them.but id like to do it right this time 20 mins from your house ??? Any local towies around ??? Buy the time ya drive to main roads, deal with the deadbeats, fill out the bs forms, pay your money Its just as easy to get a towie And no ,main roads dont sight the car,but it must be in a road worthy state But the day permit covers insurance incase you hit some one |
