i would keep the wing on it , its gives it a nice finish off to it with the body kit. and car is rear wheel drive so its not there for looks

nice au mate, the color is good too! love the wing

Don't get rid of the wing. Because the AU is such a rounded shape the rear end looks really slumped and saggy without something on the boot. Maybe a little lower and some BA XR8 rims would look nice? And re-tint the rear window.

    looks nice with that kit

get darkest legal tint and lower it so its 100mm of the ground! and happy days

your dad, and his work colleagues are FUCKING ASSHOLES - nearly as bad as police... but they have more knowledge of illegal modifications.

and i usually hate the AU but thats clean. fix your tint... its fucked.

Personally id leave it. If you keep it the way it is you might get a nice amount of $$ when you upgrade,

As far as mods go tho.

darker Tint ( get rid of that ford sticker )
    Extractors,high flow cat, 2 1/2 exhaust
xr8 intake and airbox or a custom aluminium intake
    Upgrade the stezza

not much more u should really do on a P plater car. specially if its your first car,

    BUT. if you must

    X flash tuner.
Stiffer suspension kit. Id suggest pedders they'd do a good package.
BA - BF FPV wheels would suit it really well, but youll need aftermarket ones as they are a dif offset i think
    underdrive pully kit.

Dont really kno Au's too well but thats all i can think of off the top of my head haha

    X flash tuner.

    Don't bother,

Just get 6>2>1 headers, rest of what SC_CaMiRa75.

Looks pretty good but am not a fan of the wing myself, though I agree with others the rear of the AU isn't that pretty without one at all..

    Cheers,

EDIT: It's a shame about P plate laws restriction of cylinder head work, cause the EA-AU 4.0L can start to see some decent RWKW with the help of cylinder head work. Ranging upto 185RWKW from a certain falcon specialist.

is lowering this 50mm Gunna be enough or drop it further in Gunna get 20'S for it too

Does the xr8 throttle body fit on the xr6 with out any mods

    mxmad
    Post #34

nice au i have a wagon series 2 lowered ba xr8 wheels which will bolt straight on two and three quater mandrel bent exhaust upgraded air intake.most shit off a ba will bolt straight on as they are the same floor pan,ba and au wagon are the same except for mechanicals front end and interior same for sedans but they grafted a squarer arse end on the sedan body.don't wreck it with 20's stick with 17-18 they fit the wheel arches better.once again nice clean au good first car.

I don't know what it is, but AUs have some sort of strange appeal to them. I like them more than some Ford fans do. Looks clean mate.
