completely different engine, hilux is a 4.0L not 3.5 for starters and only 175kw not 200, 207kw is acheaved on 98 octaine I believe.

Nice base to start off, have heaps of go for a 6pot, coilovers are a good start, sound system horrible thing so at least upgrade the speakers you will find it will be alot more enjoyable car to drive.

They're a nice car, miss my old one (looked identical). Problem is, there's only so much fun you can have with a 200kw FWD family sedan... Easy to install an AUX input without much hassle. First mod should be to get rid of the Michelin Pilot's if they're still fitted. Horrible tyre...

Not bad, looks really comfy and being a Toyota it will go forever.

But i heard you cant turn off the traction control in these cars...? Kinda spoils it if true.

Not bad looking car the Aurions. Couldve done without that redbook copy/paste shit though. I kind of already knew it had "Seatbelts - Lap/Sash for 5 seats" for example.

no-one cares about your standard features, honestly, OMG SEATBELTS!!! otherwise a nice car, looks too much like a d-car for my liking, needs rims and low, given a few of these a run and they go pretty well, good luck with it

No kidding! did a bit of a search and found the procedure

    1. Make sure the car is in Park and the parking brake is disengaged before you start the car.
    2. Start the engine.
    3. Engage the parking brake.
    4. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release.
    5. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release.
    6. Disengage the parking brake.
    7. Fully depress and hold down the brake pedal.
    8. Engage the parking brake, then disengage it (while holding down the brake pedal).
    9. Engage the parking brake, then disengage it (while holding down the brake pedal).
    10. Release the brake pedal.
    11. Engage the parking brake.
    12. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release.
    13. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release.

Mother F'er! surely a button would be easier, but have grandparent kill themselves in the wet isnt a good look for Toyota.

That takes me back... There are a few strange things that Toyota did with the Aurion. Interior fuse box being another one...
