I've sure the cobra (? yellow, full glass) on slicks has gone quicker tho.

Thanks guys,
But I think the time attack website only shows times from cars in time attack series.

But there are many events at qr.

I searched qr site but didn't see anything

Formula 3000 perhaps but most of their times would be on the National Circuit.

Found Lakeside track record on QR site - Track lap record- Paul Stokell (Formula Holden) 0:46.66

I'm sure he could get round the sprint in under 50s if he did a 46 at Lakeside.

Wiki says the National track record is 1:04 in a formula Holden- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queensland_Raceway

I found this link saying V8 Supercar record is 1:09.2 - http://www.v8dailydump.com.au/news/allArti...&SERIESID=1

Built car on full slicks would likely see sub 50's, or a Formula car .

But as Evaded noted, the Formula cars would likely be doing the National circuit and V8Sc's do the same track

Perhaps a Radical has done a silly lap ?

yep was waiting for a lap time from the 962.. i think he only did national citcuit though. maybe too tight on the sprint.

Probably too short, lol, He wants the long straights to open up on.

But yes Formula 3000/Formula Holden would probably have the fastest lap times if they have ever bothered. Some of the Superkarts may be able to get around in under 50's. I doubt the sports Sedans would. I thinkt hey would probably be in the Radical time frame.

a Radical was out last years doing 5s1 around the sprint track taken it easy, as the guy had never driven it around qr before and was out for testing, sounded like he had been doing alot of racing in syd with it.

There have been some fast 2WD times set other than in Time Attack, production based cars not race/kit cars. Look for the sprint results on the QR website, don't know how far back they go though.

might take some browsing to find them though - http://www.natsoft.com.au/results/

its a pity the timeattack website for lap records doesnt differentiate whether the time was done on slicks or semis
which eg makes mark berry's time even more impressive as it was done on semi's compared to the other mark on full slicks
1 Mark Berry Black R34 GTR AWD 0:52.80
2 Mark Hansen Gunmetallic R35 GTR AWD 0:53.27

True, the tyres make a difference.

But berrys car has been through a lot more work and testing.
