This is my new project/daily while the MX5 is in getting finished. Needs alot of rust cut and shut, most of which has been done. Bumpers need re-chroming, need to strip the interior and see if there's any cancer under the carpet. Interior is blue, yuck.
Paintjob is going to be far from color matched or perfect, at this stage just want to stop the rust progressing, will get it on a rotisserie and strip it right back when the Mazda is done.
Plans? As stated, strip right back to bare metal and patch all the holes. Shift battery to the boot as the standard battery tray has been eaten into non-existence. Paint in Toyota's standard off white. Retrim interior in black. Woodgrain the dash.
Motor wise... Torn between 5K/4K hybrid or 2T-G with double side draft, 270* cam and 2" exhaust.
Ditch a leaf and lowering blocks in the rear, Kings Super Lows up front. KE70 rims in white, silver hubcap with old-school red toyota logo, polished steel dress rings.
C&C welcome.
