sr20 will deffs go harder but will cost alot of money in the end, in all honesty its your bank account so go for gold and do what you want thumbsup.gif

nice Nav, i like the black on black. did you buy it like that?
and a V6 commo engine would go hard, but then again so would a sr20. you could go a n/a sr20 as that'd
be a bit cheaper then a sr20det. and turbo it down the track. but i reckon the commo engine
would be cheaper and in a lite weight ute would go hard.
but maybe go a different way, we've all seen minitruck's with commo v6's and sr20 engines.
    put a vg30 or rb20 in it,upto you

    Not to bad smile.gif

V6 has been done, but very easy to get parts for cheap, and later on if you like, bolt a turbo on and get a reliable 300hp, for bugger all cost

put an RB30 in it. theyre like 150 bucks and youll chop any commo once its rebuilt. dont even think bout putting an rb20 in there. just a waste of money

you say you can't drive a v8 yet, is it cause of your p's? if so, you can't even do an engine transplant (still against p laws...).

    nice truck btw.

Hey nice lookin ute, my 2 cents on the conversion.. Look up car boneyard in grafton nsw, they r commo specialists a mate wanted full runnin gear 4 a corolla n from memory for a series 2 vn, for motor manual box tailshaft computer loom the whole box n dice cost him just over a thousand, then look up pat gardner v6 conversions, hes in moree he will suplply u a full conversion kit 2 bolt this in for around 600 2 a grand, then theres just lil extras like auto electicain fees n ur set 2 go.. Yea its been done all before, but theres a reason 4 that.. it wil go like a cut cat!! Hope this helps

Hey bro love ur ute i had a 92 navi with the vg30 and now i'v got a 87 navi with a rb30 in it,check it out in members cars-navman_30.the rb will chew the vg all day and has alredy beaten quite a few cars gettin round logan.my whole conversion cost less than $1000 and wasn't that hard to do.You might want to consider that as a cheap alternative.
