Engine: G161Z

Exhaust: stock

Suspension: stock

Wheels: 18 inch rossi torchers

Modifications: none at the moment

Stereo Audio / Visual: clarion head unit, jvc speakers

Estimated Power: not alot

hey, this is my first project car, thinking about doing an sr20 convertion when i get the money but for now id appretiate any tips i can get to get a bit more power out of the original motor.
not a lot done for now but it will all eventually come together
would love to here some opinions and tips would be appreciated

    stockies with walls would look 1000x better than those wheels. lower it and get the head shaven down say 20-30 thou + a mild cam and it should go considerably better for not much $

    webber carby? forged pistons? shave the head? cam? there is heaps of stuff you can do to the original motor to make it fly. IF!! you think its worth it though but alot more ppl will pay better money for it if you keep it orginal rather then spending 6 grand just to do the engine swap and then probly being only able to sell the whole car wen completed for about 5 grand to some cheap CU*T!

    dont do the sr conversion. keep it g series. 1600 or 1800 are the best, turbo it ull smoke any sr around. get on ozgemini.com for all the info u can poke a stick at. gemracing can do 10 second g series packages out of the box if ur not into reserching and scraping ur knuckles and doing it urself.
    the 1600 will handle a small blow through set up which u can set up fairly cheaply these days.
