how is anyone meant to help you? Only Holden or the previous owner can.

Only Holden is going to be able to tell you. That, or you could buy a new CD player.

Looks like you'll be paying, unless you can get it from the previous owner.

Look in your owners manual the code for my Grandmas Barina is in there somewhere.

try another holden dealer..
have vin number on you they will need it
then ask for radio code
if no good ring holden australia and ask them for the code
if no good send letter to holden with a big F%$# you for a shit product.... never buy another again all because of a radio code....

or go get a basic service with them and tell them to put the code in for you.

Well that's okay, OP probably had to pay to get the radio code (as i know most holden dealers charge for it, which is a crock of shit !) and I was willing to give it to him/her/them for free..

oh well their loss ... laugh.gif

As standard first try the last 3 diigts of your vin and secondly try the 3 numbers from your license plate. If a manufacturer resets the pin code this is what they put in as standard.

No. The manufacturer doesn't reset the pin code on the standard holden radio. The pin is locked to the unit, which will be recorded on the VIN in holdens parts program. There is no way to change it. Its not going to be the first 3 numbers of a vin, and its not going its not going to be your licence plate number. This would make it too easy to be stolen, and sold...

Don't just hand out stupid information like this, people would try it, and end up locking the CD player..

Agree with you on this, what a douche ... and also if you look at the start of most Holden VIN (recent) they start with letters, so tell me how on earth you will put in a DIGIT PIN using letters ?

Seriously some people just don't think ... fuck !!
