Hi cam someone plz tell me where the fuel filter is in a vx commodore? And also I'd it an easy job to replace? Thanks

Between the Diff and Fuel Tank.

Easy, 2 clips.

get your self the tool to do them, there in the tank as mentioned above,

They aren't in the tank...

Its on the outside of the tank, between the tank, and the boot space/diff housing. Its a bastard, because of how dirty it gets there. I suggest using a degreaser first, and reading the manual on how to get them off properly. If you break the clips, you have to replace the hole line, and its fucking expensive.

there's a button on the clip, push down on the button, then push towards the hose its fitted too, then pull off. All in one simultaneous step smile.gif. They can be a bitch if they're not changed regularly, just be warned

Those white plastic clips are about $3 for a pair, simple to replace as well wink.gif


These tools make them freaking simple to disconnect though, just choose the right size one, slide it onto the white clip section, push the black hose section towards the fuel filter, pull back on the red/blue section and slide the black hose section off. All of 10 seconds each
