Yeah They are a good light weight wheel and I use them on the track, But yea better wheels are on the cards for sure. smile.gif

This is how the engine bay looked like when I pick the car up almost 2 years ago. (Stock)

    I have had fitted since:

    Walbro Fuel Pump
    QFM Brake pads
TS Boost Controller (Running 22 psi)
    Ralliart ECU
    R-comp Tyres
    XTR Stainless Exhaust Manifold
    Rear Muffler delete pipe
    Cat Delete Pipe
    Carbon Fiber plug cover
    Carbon Fuse Box
    Carbon Dash panel
    Carbon Window panels.

    Before:

After a quick drive up Mt Stuart to get some heat into the manifold:

    Racing at the Track:

I took the car down the 1/4 and ticked a nice Humid/stinking hot night and ran 13.1 @ 106.8 MPH with a 1.8 60 ft with just the Cat-back and Tune no other mods, Hoping to get into the 12's this winter.

a 10 wouldnt be an upgrade. best description of one is 1/2 way between an 8g galant and an evo 9

    there not as good

Very nice car! I'm wondering though where you got the carbon fibre dash trim from? Would love to get one for my own evo.

Only suggestion I would make to your car is to swap the evo7 front bar out for an evo 8 one. That's just my personal opinion though. Other than that, it's definitly one of the nicest evo 7's I've seen around.

    Depends what you want.

    I like that,
    but I'd rather a 10.

You want a flappy paddle box and luxury? Don't buy an EVO.

Way prefer this to the 10, and also probably the pick of the EVO bunch - If I had too.

Not a REAL Big fan of the 7 front myself, But it's angle front has grown on me, I thought bout changing to a 9 Rear bar but I want to keep it all original and not looking like a chopped EVO bitsa. 100% 7 !!!!

You may notice that I haven't.

That said, it IS kind of sad that they haven't really gotten much faster in 3 iterations.

I'd love to say "flappy paddle, luxury and FASTER", but they aren't really.
It seems stock Xs still run low-mid 13's stock.

whats the tune like when you go between both pipes???

    Boosted NXR
    Post #28

That would have to do with the extra weight/Safety/Refinement over the past models. Still one of the best bang for your buck for under 100k.
My Evo III & VI I owned was also great cars. Not too many cars you can run 12.0@114 on the stock turbo/head.

The tune stay's the same from running the delete muffler/cat, Maybe a bit richer.
