Exhaust: Turbo XS 3" TBE

Suspension: Kings for now

Wheels: Stock powder coated Dark grey with painted red lip

Modifications:

Ok ill start the rant lol

i currently own a ADM Evo 8, heres my story
I bought my Evo to replace my 300awkw STI coupe as i needed 4 doors.

So i bought it completely stock and obviously needed some more power,

I installed the following

Pro Speed Racing Intake, with Apexi Power Filter
GSC S2 274/274 Cams with Beehive springs and titanium retainers
Walbro Intake 255lph Pump
TurboXS TBE

This was then tuned by me @ Hunter Dyno using EcuFlash to make a pretty respectable 228awkw @ 24psi



This wasnt enough power after a few months, so i ordered

PTE 880CC injectors
ATP GT3037S Turbo
Tial 44mm External Gate + Screamer Pipe
Intercooler Kit

I then installed this and tuned it again myself and it made a healthy 290awkw @ 25psi in 40 odd degrees











I then put it back on the dyno to tidy up the fuel a little (3 weeks after original tune) but and it cracked a piston, stretched the timing belt and bent some valves, (was making 404hp in the cooler weather 298awkw)

The cause of this turns out that 1 of my PTE injectors had failed after getting them tested.

So the Block and head went to the machine shop, and odered a massive shopping list consisting of,

Weisco Forged Pistons 9.0CR
Eagle 100mm Crank (2.3ltr)
Manley Turbo Tuff I-Beam Rods
MAP Valves + Headstuds
ARP Main and rod bolts

Heaps of other parts, basically the entire engine is now a brand new 2.3ltr the only part of the engine thats standard is the Block casing and head casing otherwise the motor is completely rebuilt

I dont have any pics of the car during the build, but it was done in my garage, the car has done 1000kms since the build now, so it will be going for a full tune soon ish

30+psi of boost should see it 350+awkw

Currently on the run-in tune @ 20psi of boost is 267kw with a weak as piss timing map, easy 300kw in it with the same boost level

    Are the weisco pistons a good brand? I bought some arias forged pistons for my hilux and they DONT FUCKING FIT. They should but dont, the guy fucked me over.

    Anyways i need some so yeah.

    Thats alot of boost for not much hp? Friends hilux made 254hp on 4psi

    Its 4 wheel horsepower and Yeh Evos Eat boost to make power, just the way they are

    Anyway 4psi for that much HP must be a high comp motor??

    Weisco pistons are good CP also good

    I read the weisco's don't have much tolerance like cp/arias's do. How much did you pay?

    I need a set because my 3rz is in the shop waiting for some. I'm in the same boat as you kinda

    Wow, only 350kw with a 2.3L... Somethings a miss there... My mates black evo 9 with a highly modded 2L makes more then that... And I don't think he runs as big a turbo or boost levels... If your on EvoOz, have a look at Marks Evo 9 (plates are qld: WRC)... I think he might still go by the user name, el presidente...

    And before you come back with it, I don't think the mivec on the 9's motor buys him that much power...

    If you go further, get a 9 head, build that and see what you end up with... Might have to get new cams for that one though, and a new ecu

    The new type of S2's are 274/274, the older ones where not

    I nearly did chuck the shits when the injectors fucked up, but i had already dropped to much money to not finish it off properly, i could have put a replacement motor in it and be done with it but now, with the 2.3ltr its a monster on the street, love it!!

    Ok your wrong on so many levels....

    E85 tune at 26psi = 385kw atw thats what his car made, so yes he was running just as higher boost levels and with E-85, my car is running on 98Ron fuel which is a major hold back compared to E-85

    his car is also a 2.2 stroker not 2.0ltr,

    And he also using a BR3065 which is basically the same turbo as im using lol, maybe you should research a little before posting, so yes there is something a miss, E-85
