Jordan: sell the white one and just have mine. least the driveline isn't go to let you down as the other has. I can just have yours? You're too kind! To be honest I only use it as a daily now and will be selling it soon enough, I don't have enough time to drive to warrant two muscle cars. If I can sell it anyway, still fixing up half the dodgey shit that guy did (or rather didn't) do to it. ohhhhh, I didn't even realise it was you! haha. I should have guessed by the name. How's it going? Thinking about my options with it now, I've still got a few parts on their way currently so I'll atleast wait til I put all of them in. As nice as it is (you know I love that thing), I would probably be chasing something a little less common than Monaros / Camaros. 69 Dodge Charger R/T is up the top of the list at the moment nothing wrong with one of those tube frame replica's with a 911 flat six or subie engine in them! look likes the original, goes a lot faster... yeah going with spitfire again. hayabusa engine conversion? man i was bitching about paying a grand for a full brake kit, i'm not forking out for that! Do want. ps. hayabusa would be so worth it. Your household needs a fast car anyway... |

all good in my eyes Ben, stuff happened lately and just got me thinking. too much time spent on trivial things..... cars aren't that important in the scheme of things and I felt I had too much of who I am caught up in it. |

I have had enough and couldn't be bothered with big builds any more... just found a cracking HQ wagon though. chatting to it's original owner today.... it is just mind-bogglingly stock and factory fresh. couple of bits of rust and thats about it. interior is 1974 original and just about perfect! |

Wheels look good, my old mans driving my ute around as hes sold his car and is has a lack of funds. The old girl finally got its first wash since febuary. Sadly i couldnt find my camera, i was going to put it up on members rides Same haha, except I wash mine most weekends even though I don't drive it. Hopefully dad picks his new car up (300 fwkw series 2 WH Caprice) tomorrow, 2 reasons: A) I don't like him driving my car, annoys me B) Something new for some fun Then all I have to do is convince him to bolt a GT42r on the side for 400rwkw |

I allready heard him talk about putting a set of extractors and new exhaust on it Finally got a picture but its off the phone |

Monaro left on a tilt tray today headed for country Victoria. meh...... time for a change. Sad times but can be replaced in the future with what you want. I'm getting the Monaro back on the road whilst I get all the shit together for the BBC conversion, Warney and Ash have most of what I need between them so it will be back out driving at least shortly. Need to do some minor rust work and a respray me thinks, and stick the single headlight front on it at the same time. |

Picked up another car to replace my Scorpion, got sick of the POS Anchortron blowing head gaskets and spinning bearings every five minutes so it's going in the shed for a heart transplant. Either a properly built, destroked 2.6 on bike carbs or a 4G63T SOHC, haven't decided yet. |

Hey guys i got a couple of questions I have a HJ ute and im in the process of re-upholstering the interior, i think im going to go the custom route rather than stock. My problem is that i dont want any speakers in the door skins or kick panels but i love music and defiantly want a stereo in the car.My question is would it be legal to cut a hole for the speakers in the rear wall of the cabin? That way the speakers can be hidden behind the seats. Yes/No. As long as you don't affect the structural integrity of the cabin by doing it. Why not just get some slimline speaker/sub setups for behind the seat? Or mount the speakers in a custom centre console in the middle facing outwards? Or, get some good units for the original locations and run some small tweeters in a discreet spot. |
