100% with the lip, the black with white stripes 68 is like my ultimate car, no question
I would sell my soul and my left nut for one of these

Cheers for the replies guys - looking pretty one sided so far!

There are only really two things holding me back putting the lip back on at the moment.

This:

And this:

The black one looks pretty sweet without and that orange one just does funny things to me. :D

Will probably end up putting it back on though...

If you have a hood scoop id go with the lip but if you dont id go without it. Will give you 2 totally different looks.

With :D

The chin spoiler and the rear tail are just cool items that make the look of the Camaro

http://www.msclassiccars.com/69camaro_pro_touring/index.htm

To pull off the no wing look you really have to have pristine body work and a stance which gives worms issues when passing under your car

On a side note, would love to see how a Camaro rear wing would look on the Torrie as I think the SLR5000 one sites way to high

Anybody still alive out there...? ;)

Cheers for the responses on the wing issue by the way! Still trying to combat my extreme dislike for wings on anything bar porsches (cause they just look weird without them, haha).

Any updates on anyone's car?

I've seen far too many Camaros around lately, starting to annoy me - the thought crossed my mind of ditching it and finding something that isn't so popular.

i only got a hk

And as much as I love your XB, I think one is enough. :P Not sure if you remember me, I was looking at your XB waaayyyyyy back when it was still a 6cyl. Ended up buying that other guys (can't remember his name for the life of me?) - still have it... not sure what to do with it.

Just a passing thought at the moment, I'll probably suck it up and atleast finish it. If I get annoyed again and decide to sell it, I'll let you guys know first though.

And the swaps would depends on what it is. :P

ha, don't tempt me! I saw like 5 of them on show down at the F1 - stood there for agggeeesss just drooling over them. Although, I'd be too tempted to ruin it by putting a different engine in. I need to wait til I'm older and can appreciate originality, haha.

New triumph chassis? Are you going for the spitfire again or putting it into that other model?

And progress being hayabusa engine, right? :)

Old one is long gone, is being sold as rolling shell with stock 308 atm, with option on the BBC.

I thought something had disappeared but it's reared it's ugly head after a couple of years, so now has become a must sell pretty much.

I'm slightly jelly of CAM.327's engine, it's a CAM's spec engine from the HQ series I believe

Angry chain saw comes to mind :P

My dicks cam is bigger. :P

At the end of the day, your torrie will be quicker so it doen't matter. Kingswoods Everything is too heavy to be powered by a Holden six, the torque isn't there to get them off the line. Except that blokes HJ :P

CAM-327
Post #935

It's actually bigger than the ones in the HQ Racer series. It's a CAMS Spec engine, although it's an oval track car. Different spec motors.

Mine has a faster idle than that, and is alot smoother to be honest.

Jamie, Angry chainsaw is about accurate!

So what if it's in a Kingswood?

That is with the idle on mine adjsuted slightly faster than it was, had just finished playing around with it. Mine was built to sound as tough as I could get it, performance wasn't on my mind at all. If I wanted it smooth then I would have left the stage one cam in it. :P

And I don't understand the underlined question? Meaning if you want to go fast with a six then your better off having a Torrie.
I think we should have a drag at the strip, winner gets the other persons engine :P

Haha.

Yeah just let me get it on the road and sort out my rear end. It's only a banjo, non-lsd and 308 gears. :P

:P Would be like one of those races at the paralympics, even if you win your still special hahahha. Slowest race of the night haha.

Just weld the banjo and replace it when it breaks. :P
