Neat engine bay. Just tidy it up and keep it clean. Have you thought about any engine mods. Like a supercharger or something. Would be a real rocket then.

    Just what is "worked" ?

Crane 284 hydraulic cam, roller rockers, flat top pistons 9.8:1, ported heads ect ect,

cant remember the rest, but the car should go close to an 11 with slicks, since the motor went 13.0@108mph in the VN wagon

If it was a 6 cyl, it will need one. If it was a factory 8 then it wont. I have done shitloads of these conversions (VB-VL) and never had an issue with rwc or rego. It's no different than taking a factory V8 car with carby 308 and bolting on the injected heads and top end....waits for the "youdontknowwhatyaonabout" brigade :oopsie:

I still prefer the 304 with a high rise and carby..

    Yeah, because that's different right?

There already is white commodore sleepers getting around with steelies. I don't think 3" pipes are going to help a 'sleeper' look.

But saying that, dude the car looks sweet as is. Just get some caps for the 2 wheels missing them and lower it..

Gee you have put a lot of people in danger then...

If you are claiming that you are keeing the standard block and fitting VN heads and injection then you have carried out an emmisions change and therefore requires a mod plate with the code LA4.

If you are claiming that you have done a straight conversion with a 304 then you need a mod plate with a LA1 code.

If you are just doing a straight v8 swap from a 6 to a v8 that is of the same type of v8 that came out in that series (ie carb 253) then no mod plate is required if you make sure the brakes and other supporting systems are also swapped over. Just because it used to be a 6 does not mean jack shit.

    So in response to ...
