Hope you didn't pay to much for it. Looks like it needs abit of money spent on it, although these are pretty cool when done right, don't see them around much anymore either. Well for what i paid for the lot i was pretty much paying for the engine which was still strapped to pallet with about 100,000km on it. The car is what i wanted and that was pretty much given to me with the engine along with a few other bits and pieces. i had one that come with everything except motor & ECU & then sold it all for $150 lol i paid $500 just felt like too much of a old school car too me Old school isnt a bad thing . Once shes got a fresh paint job, some dish rims, and a ca18det running she'll be a head turner. Hey man, i've got one with a ca18det in it and a mates got a sr20det in his. And his is 3x the car that mine is. If you need any parts like body panels and stuff let me know cause I have wrecked a Whole car. Cheers man. Thanks mate, probably bit hard being at other ends of the country but cheers for the offer. Agreed. Do it right and put the SR in. Much rather have a ca18 in it, personal preference really. looks like a load of work A load of work but thats what im aiming for. Waited years to move out of my old mans place and start my own project that i can work on from ground up, was hard at his place due to not enough space (had monaros taking up garage space) and putting up with his banter about how i waste money on cars. did you get this off a guy in hobart? think i had this in at work some time ago Sure did! Possibly getting a service or gearbox work done? Poor cars had a hard life, no wonder the block has a big hole!needs alot of work Sure does and im prepared to do it |
