Put in my headliner between last night and tonight after work. This was my first time ever giving it a go... can't say I'm overly keen to ever do it again either. |

There are the few little wrinkles you can notice in the bottom left of the pic and one up the top which I will chase out with a heatgun over the weekend sometime. But hey, first go so I'm happy overall - especially when those wrinkles are gone! Going to be mighty dark inside at night time when I'm done. I'd say you could comfortable have sex on that |

now guys why is it that when you are looking for a old car you can never find one. but when you find one all off your mates seem to know off where one is sitting. now heres how it went for me.. a little while ago i was looking for a eh wagon that wasnt already played and everything i looked at had already had the floors bodgied up and wasnt realy worth the money being asked. So i sat back for a bit and got some parts together for when a good one came along now a couple off weeks ago i found a sedan shell on evilbay that was cheap and honest and as it went under in the recent floods nobody else realy bidded on it and now that i have got it at home i asked a few mates in the bush to look around for the parts that im missing for a sedan so it was all going well until........ i got a message on facebook telling me about a eh wagon a mate off mine has in his shed that i can have cheap and it drives and comes with a heap off sedan parts as well so i now have a wagon as well but heres the twist in the story that would almost make cry 20 odd years ago i knew off a eh ute that was sitting in a shed on a farm in western nsw that i was doing some fencing work on and back them the farmer said that i could have it for a carton off coldy's but i didnt have the money to fix it properly so i left it sit there for a later day. A good mate off mine went for a drive out that way last week and said that its still sitting there and it hadnt moved from when we last saw it. well next weekend we are finaly picking up the ute And before you all ask no im selling any Are you planning on opening an EH Holden dealership ??? Awesome that you got so many toys to play with thou, what's going to be the plan for each ? Showcar, cruiser, daily ? |

now im just about to order some carpet for my Hj ute and they charge the same amount for a moulded carpet for a ute as they do a sedan or wagon. I think its a bit of a rip off myself. Im going through Knox Auto Carpets. Anyone else have a better suppplier? Knox has some of the best if not the best quality carpet in Australia, that's where I bought mine for the Monaro recently and worth every cent imo. |

I got mine from Queensland molded car carpets. 18 Ferguson Street, Underwood QLD 4119 (07) 3341 4899 I just wish they made a single piece for the floor of the cabs. Puzzles me why its in two. I also got my underlay and rearwall carpet from there Cheap too. Are the rear wall carpets cut to size or did they do it for you? i was just thinking of buying a couple of meters when i get the carpet and do it myself. And to HSV im going through Knox auto carpets as they are the best i have found but i still dont understand why a moulded carpet for a ute is the same price as it is for a sedan, i would think that if its half the size, it should be half the price. EDIT: Just checked out "Queensland moulded car carpets" the prices are the same as knox's so since i have heard a lot of good feedback about knox's ill e going there for sure. I have 2 premier buckets that need to be retrimed and the sliders are rusty as fuck, i figured i might get some black leather racing buckets as they are half the price and as they give me more leg room( i need it im 6ft 2"). whats everyones thoughts about that. Cheers |
