Lost it in the wet on the highway a few months ago...

According to a witness, hit a cliff face, launched up it, hit a tree and rolled a few times.

    oh wow, good the see it held its structural integrity pretty well, fords are build pretty tough in my opinion.

    This is my friends old XR6, he sold it and the bloke crashed it like a month or two later. Was an absolutly beautiful car, clean, and had a lot of work done to the engine and made a pretty decent power figure at the wheels.

    Not that much work done to the engine, only Siemens injectors (with upgraded fuel pump) btw.

    And I had it for nearly 6 months and covered 14 000km....


    Yeah that's what the stickers say - airbags didn't go off. No idea why, probably because it is an australian built car.

    Yeah, I know him. For what the car was, it had a pretty decent power output IMO. I drove it twice and I enjoyed it. It was a super clean car. Good to hear you made it out pretty ok.

    because the airbag sensors are at the front of the car right behind the Reo bar.

    Initial impact was on the front (nearly dead on) with the rock cliff face. Airbags should have deployed.

    mate the airbag sensors are pretty well right behind the number plate and it hasnt been hit straight on
