32 Gtr - gtr wont hit limiter

hello all. i own a 32 gtr and it wont hit the limiter.i've replaced the coil packs and the spark plugs,cleaned the intercooler pipes checked it over and i can't figure it out.any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:cheers:

If it went all up to the limiter before they installed it, take it back to them and ask them the question

Chances are is that Mark set the ecu up so that it doesn't over rev mine is set to 8000rpm with my power fc. this is so that it doesn't destroy my oil pump.

But like GTRVspec95 said not happy take it back.

nar im happy with watt he did it was running well for months after he put it in, them had timing belt and all that done and thats when it started playin up, still hits 14 pound and runs well just dont hit limter and dont feel like its pulling as hard

stock turbos? because if it is 89-92 32 their turbos shouldn't be boost past 12psi I believe and the stock 33 GTR turbos nothing more than 14psi.

Or chances are he has changed the power curve for response over power.

That moment where you decide to upgrade the standard turbos ... Pray that you have a healthy wallet at this time :S

Nar not standard mark from godzilla seems to think there N1 turbos i just cant think watt else would be making it run like that,

Recheck the camshaft timing :mamoru: My money is on the intake or exhaust cam timing being out one tooth which explains why it dont pull as hard either.

I would also double check all the intercooler pipes are sealed up tight(check with some soapy water)

lol I just upgraded mine to -5s and all up with install and tune was 8g.

went good but the
muffler burnt out:(
how much extra hp did the injectors and pump bring it up to

I honestly dont know

I am on 276.7kw now I made 6.7kw just on new plugs.

My mate gave his car to Godzilla. Now making 320awkw on 18psi.

It also have a vipec. The limiter is very fast bashing, doesnt cut out for long before back in.

Do you have a blocked cat perhaps?

Exactly no head work It is believed to have mild cams but no cam gears.

I will most likely just go poncams would love procams but as a daily = bad.

The exhaust is also a big big restriction I need to go from a 2 3" into a single 4" into a 4" cat back out to my 3 1/2" system.

Exhaust will definately be your problem. Head should still flow well enough not to hold you back with a set of cams.

my old r32 gtr wouldnt hit the limiter either after a new timing belt was put in .. turned out the cams were 1 tooth out and it just stuffed everything up .. lucky it wasnt more than one or it woulda been very damaging

I looked at Wrx's and Evos before my GTR.... I test drove a Evo 7... I felt like I was going to break the thing. as where the GTR so far is taking my punishment fairly well :rolleyes:
