Just got back from bundy, had a look at a 69 Camaro. Big block 468. Auto, etc etc. Turned out to be a insanely bored out 396 which didn't seem too healthy going by the oil dripping down the rocker cover out of the breather.. A fuckload of bog and cracks in the paint which wasn't very well hidden. Floor had been fiberglassed in the states and they didn't even try cover it with body shultz. Drivers side was sagged down and hitting the subframe connector...... Also didn't seem like the claimed 550hp.. Maybe i'm expecting a bit too much. Iunno.. |

Crazy. Were they good condition? Apart from faded paint in most cases yeah. Just got back from bundy, had a look at a 69 Camaro. Big block 468. But, it looked fucking tough, had a few good pieces, sounded insane and probably would have got jaws dropping.. But not mine.. No good mate, was a damn shame about that SS too, oh well, guess the search continues. In other news, Monaro is on EGay now, shitload of interest but mainly tyre kickers it would seem. Saw another GTS/4 at swap meet yesterday which was in very average condition, faded paint, seats all round needed recovering, rear parcel tray and door trims needed recovering, was bog stock apart from a freshly built 308, offers had been given at $15k, was a damn average car to say the least, pretty confident mine should sell no worries....... |

It's all good mate Have a 'Roadrunner' aftermarket cover that looks good, and would really only need a clean; from all the oil to bring it up to specs Well have 70 watchers on Egay in relation to the Monaro, and 2 people super keen to take it at reserve price. Project "Undies change" on track |

Wait... what? Did I miss something again? Everyone is selling their car! Are you getting something else to replace it? There will be something in the future to replace it, for now a family issue needs resolving so she has to go. It's only a short term thing though so hopefully wont be out of a vehicle for long. Am selling minus the BBC though so I have a tough engine sitting here which I will slot into something........... |

I'm going to start looking for a 502 block soon Then build a real engine and box over a year or so. 572 with a hairdryer off the side (But probably just a cammed 572, either way i'll be happy) |

Not a massive fan of the tonners and to be honest I want something that I can take the whole family in, might even look at a cruise car, a custom of some description, and build another Q on the side. |

Nice, the dude who owned the camaro i looked at on the weekend gave me a weird look and pointed to the 396 badge when i asked if it was a 468... As advertised. He had nooo idea. Like, it had forgies cause it slapped when cold but i find it hilarious that someone can spend that much money and not know whats inside. |
