yeh man il take some when i get home, its got full tan leather complete series 2 front end cut it up abait to show more FMIC, new gaurds all round, engine bay is getting all polished, its looking really good, the tune feels amazing,

when is your car running pig?

baz hows yours coming mate?

is there any other cressy boys or just us havent really read the forum for awhile

its rough as hell but it goes alright,
big plans.. small budget.. you know how it is haha

hoping not to long but im not in a hurry. i just want it ready for a couple of the bigger events during the year. i only just got it back from getting a few custom made parts to bling up the engine bay.(catch can,powersteering reservoir and airbox all in stanless) im going to pull out the engine next weekend then get the engine bay smoothed/painted then get a auto box built then bolt that up and drop it in without scratching the paint work :bowrofl: where did you buy for inlet manifold from??? i want to get something like that for mine while its out.

Yeah mines still hanging round the same spot its been for quite a while.
just bought a new EBC, with some pretty cool features, so will be setting that up to where I want it.
some new suspension is on its way to firm and drop it a bit more.
relocating the battery, and new intake pipe to be made from the turbo to get some decent air.

Thinking of changing the rear housing on my turbo aswell to slightly a bit bigger. its currently a .84 and might go to a .96 or 1.00/2.

here is a few custom made parts that a mate made for my car, catch can, air box to turbo and power steering reservoir. just started to pull everything out ready for the engine to come out. then ill be getting it ready for paint :ph34r: and getting manifolds hpc coated/parts painted etc. more pics as it gets done.

1 2 3 gear is the racing gears it has overdrive which is just a cruise button pretty much

Would 2jz cams help the head breathe a bit better?


i already have large cams, run could of been a little better but happy with that for now. to better my time we are going more boost, that run was on 23psi so 30psi should make for a good improvement ;)

just figured out my diff bushes are flogged out:(

Anybody know the best sort and place to get replacments??
I am thinking from Beech Performance or Serialnine in america ??
Altho S9 seems to be having large dramas with machine shops not doing anything for him so orders take months etc so im leaning toward Beech

any advice would be appreciated!

Yeah sorry, I edited my post too late. I read the subtitle incorrectly when I watched the vid. Thought it said ya still had standard cams. hahaha.
23psi straight to 30psi haha like your style. Sure shows the 1jzs kick arse.

CAn't wait to get some decent coin behind me to get mine running up there.

i used standard toyota ones as a replacement and havent had dramas yet. no plans for cage yet would love to run a 9 uncaged

hey SC what mods do you have again? what gearbox? and what power and torque when you ran 10?

you'd be the fastest cressida in qld and from memory the 3 or 4th in oz

standard motor with cams and ported head, standard gearbox with mv's valve body, t66 turbo 23psi 521rwhp cant remember what torque but plenty. aim is fastest 1jz in aus but we will see what happens, should hopefully run a 9 with 30psi and full street trim

nice time sleepercorty you have done well should be good to see a 9. but it will be hard to be the fastest 1jz with shane (1jz747) new build (cousins car) and dereks commodore in the works as they are both chasing 8's i beleave :thumbsup: good luck anyway.

yes your abit out of my league for now(i presume you own the white 1jz ute), i might aim for second for now thats an easier goal haha. it would also be easier if i had a cage and tech and racing suit and so on so i could get more than one run its definately got a 10.2-10.3 how it is at the moment but will probably add around 50-100hp before i race again so with a clean pass and more power 10.0 at 135mph shouldnt be to much drama

yeh i have seen shanes cousins build, and also saw that derek was selling alot of his gear im only aiming for where there times are now not for what there new times are going to be. maybe i will just aim for the fastest true street daily driven 1jz thats easier for me. imagine what times i could run with mine if it was just a stripped out drag car.

you and i will be chasing the same goal mate. it will be good to see your car in the flesh, great power aswell mate, i made very similar. just havent taken it down the track.

we gotta organise a cressida cruise or just a jz cruise. Any one from here goin on the toyota cruise or mt glorias cruise?

sweet when were you thinking about taking it racing might come for another run or to watch. what you hoping to run first time out?

very shortly. i took it out about 1 year ago with 400hp ran 11.9 at 96mph 60foot was 2.1 had some drama half track so backed right off hence low mph but suprised we ran 11 il be happy to hit 10's but it'l happen when it does, i know i got the power just gotta be patient and it'l happen, when you goin next? we should organise a night for it?

i will have to wait at least a few weeks before i go back otherwise they might get a bit upset if i keep coming and running 10's, but will probably wait till i have more power before i race again. also want to do bigger injectors and see what the standard gearbox will take on the dyno
