Around 9am this morning on the Gateway Motorway about 1.5km away from the Logan Road exit there was a current model BMW 5 series facing oncoming traffic in the centre ditch. There was barely any curve to the road as well, so I can't imagine how the idiot managed to do that.

ohh I can answer that!! its cause he's a BMW driver/owner... Taxi's in germany, luxury cars over here.

Might have something to do with what i saw this morning? It all began in surfers at about 4.30 this morning, white mid 90's model falcon pulled out of chevron renaisance tried to do a few fish tails then completely looped out right in front of me. Then every set of lights up smith st tried to do some epic power skids lol. As we entered the motorway it was bucketing down but he must of had his foot flat all the way round the on ramp and the car was only just holding onto the road. I watched him flog his falcon into the traffic frantically changing lanes and thought "this bloke's going to crash today". As I got to the Logan exit I could see a car coming the wrong way up the motorway so i slowed down and sure enough there he was, he'd put it sideways into the concrete exit lane divider and the car was the shape of a boomerang. I don't know What this bloke was on but I'm glad i wasn't near him when he was "proving himself".

To be fair, I see a hell of a lot of trucks that merge into very small gaps and then stay there, rather than create braking space for themselves. Severe asshattery on both parts, the people who take that braking space, and the truckies who don't bother making it in the first place.

To the dumbarses driving through road closed signs to check out the floodwaters of the Mary River coz you are too fucking lazy to park your car & walk to have a look !!
Almost hitting pedestrians + hindering people getting their stuff out of their houses before the floodwater ruins it all and getting bogged in the slush on the side of the road when you do a u-turn then expecting someone to tow you out.

A bit late now but 2 days ago some kid put his F1 car (VN commo) around a 90 degree bend at about 60km/h heading up the southbound gateway onramp at eagle farm. The thing understeered straight into the concrete barrier

There was a 4wd that reversed out of a driveway onto the road. Then it pulled off the road to let the traffic by. I could clearly see what was happening on approach, but the stupid driver in front of me stopped and stayed stopped right in the middle of the road to let this 4wd out (for a good few seconds). To avoid running up the back of the car, I had to slow from 60 to a stop, just because you wanted to be polite. Note to this Daewoo driver, please don't stop in the middle of the road when there are cars coming up from behind you unless you want a re-arranged back end. I hope my horn beeping made you think twice about doing that again.

well driving home from lismore yesterday i was behind a truck in nerang road works and twice this big toll truck had to go down to gears straight away and lock it up because people had cut him of and didn't care but thankfully the truck driver saw what was about to happen twice and put hazards on warning me to start to slow down so i had good breaking distance if we had to suddenly stop.

Also i loved being in lismore every driver was actually indicated and made the flow of traffic much easier as we all knew the intentions of the other drivers wish a lot of QLD drivers did this
