I want a green or dark blue with a sunroof and grande.. They are cheap enough so if i see one i want ill grab it. if not ill just do mine doesnt really matter. Im going to go the 550usdm injectors on stock ecu.. still make plenty of power there. i honestly would not bother with the 550usdm injectors you will only run out of fuel real quick once upping the boost but it depends how much power you want to make??? the reason i say to go after market ecu is because you can tune a car so much better/safer and be alot more consistant. when i was running the factory ecu i had it go real good some days then other days feel like crap for what ever reason and you get over it pretty quick as i did. best thing i ever did was ecu upgrade. either way you should still have fun |

Buy tyres off me blackers.... And i dont like what your saying pig. As i had it all planned out to copy what ive seen a few guys do with stock ecu's and havent heard of them running into problems. Though if i go ahead with what i want to do now then change my mind thats when things get expensive.. Changing your mind is one of the biggest costs and waste of money during building cars and id like to keep the spending down. i agree with the whole changing your mind cost alot but ive been there and thats why i recomend buying good parts but if you dont want to spend much thats still ok. but i just think alot of people over estimate the capability of the factory ecu. they can make good power but not as safe as it would be with aftermarket stuff. keep us posted how you go anyway |

sounds like fun mate! I got a new exhaust put on mine 3" right through with twin 3" pipes out the back (staggered drift style) buggered off the jaycar boost controller and now just running a boost tee till i get a new solenoid for my Greddy controller as it was overboosting a bit and just wasn't that good also got my 17" mx5 wheels on so looks alot nicer and handles alot better with a truckload more traction throw up a pic??? do they clear r33/ba brakes upfront do you know??? |

tuned mine again last weekend 521rwhp on 23psi and maybe racing next week. i have about 100hp more now than when it ran 11.00 at 123mph. so hoping for at least 10.5 at around 132mph |

I had a power run today. had 284hp on 13psi with the t04z .84 rear housing. I thought I was on 22psi. thank fark I wasn't. hahaha. I think i'll be going aftermarket computer soon. aftermarket computer will help heaps, you should be able to make around 350hp with that much boost and a to4z. i think mine makes around 400rwhp on 15psi with same size turbo and im only 1jz. |

I didn't want to go to aftermarket, but being I want to put the boost up and being able to manage and maintain alot of things, that my setup currently can't. |

i went from 3 to 3.5 exhaust and it made a definate difference. power used to drop of at high rpm now holds power all the way to 9000rpm. also used to ping a little on the road after going to 3.5 no pinging which means there was a restriction. |

noice. Looks like going a 3.5" exhaust is on the cards. Im guessing you did a 3.5" full exhaust from turbo? |

45mm turbo smart gate, if i was going to run lower boost would of gone for the 50mm same as on my cortina as it will only be running under 20psi. 38mm gate is really to small for a 2jz but it may be ok if your going to run big boost, it will just struggle to control boost at low levels. and yes mine is 3.5 inch turbo back i was going to go 4 inch dump pipe but didnt have the room, its not really going to make much difference at this power level would of just been nice for the future as i definately want to get to 600+rwhp. |

mate going aftermarket ecu was the best thing i did. cant wait to see it with more boost Couple of things I am going to do before I attempt going aftermarket ecu. Found out I had two bolts missing on the intake manifold, the IACV gasket was popping its head out, and more than likely leaking. I didn't have the vacuum lines setup properly for my boost gauge. Boost gauge was reading wrong aswell, even setup properly. Manual boost controller I believe was farked. I have a electronic boost controller on the car now. Not setup properly as yet, but I have noticed a major improvement. Still the usdm cams to go in. o2 sensor I have just changed, due to the other one possibly screwed. Only way is up from here. Keep yas iin the loop |
