Oh well... If we don't speed we wont get a ticket...won't be long I'm sure before I get one but that's the risk I take. As for no lines on the road, I wouldn't pay attention to the lines anyway..I have no idea why QLD had to have lines on the road for their speed cameras since NSW doesn't....old technology maybe The lines on the road for these types of camera are for measuring the speed. These camera actually take 2 Photos and the distance the car has travelled between the lines is the way to determine the speed. On the subject there was an article on 9 news last night that basically said the Point to Point set up on the Bruce wont be operational for some time as the system does not work. They cant get it to work either with the volume of traffic on the road. Thats some Win for the motorists I think. |

for those wanting exactly location... the cameras are on the bridge straight after the Logan Motorway Exit.... I know for a fact that these ones are not operational for some time yet they are however testing them to see why they r having so much trouble with the other ones, you should be right for another 2-3 months + for these cameras |

can anyone find info on these cameras?? not to sure if there in operation yet its the bridge where the logan motorway crosses the M1 at loganholme mate got this picture yesterday and said they were flashing away (not to sure if there still in testing mode) Heh got them everywhere down here in Vic, best ones are between the girders on bridges or behind overhead street signs on the freeways. Personally I prefer the fixed ones everywhere other than sneak kents parking unmarked vans all over the place |

So the camera's set up northbound from Mobil at the Johnston Rd overpass to just before the Caloundra exit are point to point? Because I was doing 120 easily going southbound back in January... never got anything... so just curious. |

Are there any fixed speed cameras on the gateway bridge? Specifically the old gateway bridge heading northbound as you enter the bridge. I was sure those toll cameras that hang over the road are not speed cameras as well.... at least I hope not. Can anyone confirm/deny? wait 2-3 week and find out... |

Might have something to do with the fact that GPS says im going 110 while the speedo says 120. The camera you refer to is point to point, it takes the time you travel the distance and then works out your average speed |
