i have a stock mxt3, runs like a charm altho body is a tad rusty lol, is grandpa spec, interior is pretty much immaculate and it has pedders shocks and springs all round, still has un-used spare in the rear and toolkit, engine has 270th km on the clock but still runs perfectly, power steering is a bit noisy
taking offers over 400$ i really need this thing gone guys PLEase PM me if your keen at all

saw a real nice dark grey/green (maybe?) cressida on black r33gtr wheels on kingsford smith drive on saturday

and has pretty much re-sparked the fire


does anyone know of this cressida?
is it forsale at all?

Im looking to get a new dump pipe made up and possibly a new exhaust manifold. Can anybody recommend me a workshop or online trader?

Okie dokie, got the fuel pump and windows working.
The fuse on the drivers side kick panel labelled GAUGES is to blame.

Done a bit of damage to the head I believe. But its going of to the workshop Saturday and getting some other goodness done at the same time.
external fuel pump install,
port the head and machined.
twin fuel rail.
relays on each fan, and 40amp fuses as opposed to one relay and a 30amp fuse. Also having it powered from the igntion and on a switch.

And hopefully up the boost slightly and see where we are.

Sounds like the one that was recently for sale on carsales. 1jz, manual, big single. Really nice car..

Ill be driving mine in 8 months lol been waiting over 5 years to drive So 8 months doesnt seem to long to wait. Hopefully i can get it all on the road in time..

hey dude pm me if you want some stuff done. i got a mate that does really good work that does it from home. cheaper since he doesnt have over heads. mine was all done buy him and still going strong.

update- i got my car tuned today for powercruise and made 493 on 98pump fuel before the factory coil packs misfired so ill have to upgrade them and crack the 500 mark :mamoru:

hell yeah!!

hopefully I will come out to powercruise for a looksee as my cressy isn't ready for abuse yet.. still slowly checking things out etc

I think my gearbox mount is rooted (bangs under the car when you get on and off the gas quick)
and i need a new exhaust as it rattles on the floor and has a few holes in some welds(who ever welded/made it was pretty bad)

still need to relocate my power steer res
and work out why it won't start properly (cranks for ages most times then splutters to life for a few moments then comes good)

blownbmw- cheers yeah im happy for a stock engine with bolt on's. might upgrade the coil and throw in some race fuel after powercruise and see what it gets :mamoru:

blackers10- yeah man come out as there is a few cressys out this year so will be good to watch. ive got a guy that can do a good exhaust pretty cheap when you want to do it. once you get that stuff all sorted ull be out having fun again im sure. ive been though the same crap fixing every thing up that i wasnt happy with.

have you reinforced your cradle yet ??
last thing you want to do is a full boost launch and leave that at the start line haha

I will let you know when I am in need of the exhaust(any idea on a rough price?? would only be cat back 3" with what ever it needs to keep it legal)

nar still factory lol ill keep an eye on it but if it brakes ill make the next one strong.
not sure on a price but he will beat any exhaust place. i got a full 3.5'' exhaust cheaper then the 3" quote''s i was getting from shops.

Not a cressida but still a 1J...standard turbo blew so I got it rebuilt with a GT3076R cartridge, getting tuned Wednesday. It's still on the standard fuel system though, but if it makes 350hp I'd be pretty happy...

ordered my 3500rpm stall converter.

Does anyone know, or roughly know what hp I would be capable of on a 2jzgte fuel mods wise!
If I have a walbro 255l/h intank pump and a 044 bosch external pump surge tank.
550cc injectors and a tomei fuel regulator.

I was hoping to push close to or hit 500hp at the wheels. Air is being push through by the help of a Garrett t04z .84 rear.
Soon or hope to have 25psi running through it.

Bring on 11's bitches.

i have a walbro 255l/h pump and 550cc sard injectors 437rwhp 20psi injectors are max duty. i have a 4000-4500rpm convertor so you might pick up a little more power than me with a tighter convertor. id aim for 450rwhp, if you had a manual you could probably make the 500rwhp with 550cc injectors. also your pump wont give you enough for 500rwhp, you will need another 044.

im upgrading mine to 1000cc injectors and twin walbro 255l/h intank, should give me enough fuel for atleast 800rwhp if i ever get there

ive got walbro intank with two o44's and 870cc injectors pretty sure there is still plenty of fuel there but my coil packs were misfiring at pretty much 500 so should be good for more with that setup. much safer to go big injectors and not use so much duty cycle.

no one hey :( lol well i took the cressy up to willowbank and what do you know. there goes another clutch hahahaha first run i babyed it of the line and just changed each gear reasonably slow and run a 12.7 so was pretty happy considering that. then came around and thought bugger it ill get into it and it luanch pretty hard but the clutch must have gotten hot and stuck to the flywheel so didnt get to do a full pass. guess im going auto now and see what happens from there.

Don't you have it for sale atm? I reckon heaps more people would be interested while its manual, but if you wanna use it to its fullest potential seems like auto is the go.

I have just got my car back with the 3500rpm stall convertor and surge tank with 044 pump.

haven't got up it yet, but my tuner took it for a spin and half throttle he said it kicked out on him hahaha. I was like noiccee!

Car still needs to be tuned, and going to leave it til the roads dry up a bit before we do.

20+psi here we come then up to willowbank to see how we go.

rotor_head- yeah ive been down there a few times now and seen it getting done. looks nice a clean. it was nearly ready to start on friday??? just waiting on a lead to come in or something.

baz- sounds good, let me know how the 3500 stall goes for ya? im not sure what size stall to go yet. your still running a 2j box???
