use decent quality vinyl and prep the surface right, and they should be fine for a few years with general everyday use. |

Like most trends/shit that people hate on, I like it when done right. I think it's honestly impossible to do purposely rusted panels right. Why do a resto on a car when you can just leave the shell a rusted piece of shit? Sounds like people just wanted to buy cars out of inbred peoples front yards and put shiny wheels on them and call them modified. |

Though if I bought a rusted heap and kept it looking ratrod-ish, I wouldn't call it modified unless it had some rediculous power house under the bonnet. |
