Found some gnarly home cooked panel work on my wagon today... btw, can recomment those plastic discs for taking paint off (and about 15mm of bog) an I am in need of a donor wagon if anybody knows where I can get one cheap. need a rear quarter pass side to cut and repair mine please let me know if you can help in any way, thanks Ash. Is on boats but I have seen bog over 7" deep. like 44m superyachts though 308 wasn't meant to be for me, might go big block from the beginning after all |

308 wasn't meant to be for me, might go big block from the beginning after all I was actually quite surprised at the amount of interest, there is literally 5 or 6 guys begging me to sell it to them, first dibs is a guy who lives less than 1km away from me lol. There are a lot of good bits and pieces on the engine though, I mean the carby, fabricated covers and CVR starter is already over $1k's worth, not to mention $350 worth of brand new mufflers, new rebuilt alternator etc etc. Hope to hear back about a short block today with a stack of work done to it, fresh build 0km's so hoping everything goes to plane. I'm keen top have it done by start of December (BB conversion, single headlight front and change seats) but as always something will pop up no doubt. |

was I right on the prices I guessed? Close yeah, I'm supplying mufflers as its easier for me to get them and I prefer these ones, running off the shelf headers, just Hurricanes, apparently Mark is running them with no issues, and still dumping before the diff. All up around the $1350 mark. I've been put onto a pretty serious bottom end as well, but its a bit more than I want to pay for one so I'm umming and ahhing about that one atm. |

really? I thought they were custom jobbies? well if they are on a car of that calibre then they should be good to go!! This is according to Les they are. He thinks they are a bit of alright, especially if not chasing huge hp at rear tyres. Bit the bullet and bought this bottom end tonight will post all the specs later |
