124 cars entered! and thats apparently a record for the VW Drivers club of QLD. Some wicked Buses and bugs out, the rat style is making an apperance now too, for better or for worse. For the record the shitter (bug: no windows, interior, or anything else for that matter) scored a 1/60. General appearance is everything right? Was a great day out Any feed back would be really appreciated, PM me about it. Also, OP, thanks for the 1st pic of my car Looks like the polish payed off! No worries man. I liked it lots. Nice to see the old golf got a few snaps And yes that was probably one of my favourites. She was a friggen stunner that's for sure. |

Nah dude it drew attention which is what I assume you were after, and I can see potential in it. dont get me wrong i loved the stance of it on the ground but not my cup of tea.. I know how rare they are and all so good luck to you getting the bits your after,. Im sure it'll be a screamer when its done. I'm looking forward to seeing the transformation that it'll take over the next year. By then I'll have a new showroom pony to enter |

By then I'll have a new showroom pony to enter hehe you sound cool... dont get me rong i have a soft spot for water cooled too... the finished sticker is on the surfacerust one that was beside my yellow thing... i brought it cus i thought someone would admire it and appreciate the amount of man hours put into it, i have spent the last 18months repairing all the rust in it if you looked carefully you may of noticed some that were in clear veiw (most repairs in white, grey, blue and black primer), also rebuilt all the running gear and gloss paint my pan which is running a 4.5inch narrowed adjustable beam with 2.5inch drop spindles and adjustable springplates in the rear droped to three splines... only ran it at that height for the show. will be lifted an inch or 2 when on the road... plan is to have it shiney agave green by this time next year... tho reality is always longer... but hopefully next year we can park both our shiney cars on the same field and just admire everyones interests and passions without the shitslinging great day btw... awesome turnout, see you on the road if not next year |
