I have 19's on my altezza and they're alright only thing is my car is lowered etc so needed to roll the guards otherwise get major scrubbing

Current rims are Work Equip - 17x8 +30 front and 17x9 +30 rear (might use some spacers soon):





Old rims were Lenso D1R - 17x10 +15 all round... (little bit too much poke so i sold them):





Ideal fitment would be 18x8.5 +15 front and 18x9.5 +15 rear. (IMO) But with 17's you can go lowwwww.

OP... the rims in the pic would be 18's and are Work VS XX.... i think probably one of the best rims around... there should be plenty of those for a Lexus around...

the size will come down to how low you want to go... 18's arguably means you can go lower then 19's...

i think 19's with dish do look better as fill guard out more... but dont do staggered setup if your not going to lower it.

If your going to run aggressive stance like the pictures above, make sure you invest in some good coilovers. I know from experience of massive tyre scrub and shit set-up...

dude i pretty much creamed myself when i saw your car at harrys... its exactly the stance my gf wants.. maybe a little more dish. What kinda coil overs are you running? how much did they cost? i'm a panel beater so i can deal with the panel work.

I don't mind if they sit in slightly, I'd rather space them out and if I get defects, i can just take them off. Then if I got hetic offset & get defected then have to change wheels all the time....

I am running HSD coilovers, they cost $1400 ordered through Option1. I wouldn't recommend them, i have had to adjust them so many times and order stiffer springs at an extra $200. I'd go with some BC coilovers or some Racing Logic or just shop around, read up on forums of what other coils people are running in IS200/300's.

For the same price as the HSD's you could get some pretty decent coils.

But cheers, i need spacers FTW. I am a bit sunk at the moment.

Yeah man, they are Work Equips i had up for sale, i got them off a guy on SecretDrift a couple months back. I might run a 20mm bolt on spacer in the front and 10mm on the rear. Your right, running spacers is so much easier, defected = take them off.

Ideally your above offsets you mentioned would be perfect, 18x8.5+35 for front with a slip on 5mm spacer (or maybe even a 18x9 +35) and a pair of 18x9.5+35 for the rears, should sit mint!

What car are the Rota's going on? I wanted to run some XXR 522's because i couldn't find any MB Battles.

Oh and Sick32RB20 ... if you are after rims that look like the attachment you posted in the first post, look for some XXR 521's... they are meshy with good dish, affordable brand new and have good offsets.

Just contact that JDM Wheel Import guy who posted above, he imports them.

Personally this is the best fitment Ive seen on an IS, the car was chosen to go to SEMA to represent Lexus. Not sure on offset but they look like 20s though

Ive been shopping for the Rota D2's for my IS200.

I found 18x9 35+ All around in gold, I got the idea for gold rims on dark green from the OP picture... looks sexy!!!!
Also need to buy coilovers, The rear struts are shot. BUT I want to keep the luxury comfy ride.

Go the coilovers man, it is worth the investment.

if you go to low in the rear they will eat tyres (very hard to set up rear to not)
in my opion 18s with 8.5 36p and 9.5 35p running 225/40 tyres works sweet

and bc adjustys are the ticket

Hey fellas..I got a set of WORK VARIANZA SC1s that im thinking about selling..Dont know if they are up to your liking but they are : 18 X 9 +30 18 X 10 +20...PM me for price..They also come with brand new never used 225/40 mounted on the 18x9s...Ill even throw in a pair of brand new 20mm spacers..Ill post them up properly on the for sale section when i have time..
