So I need a hole cut in my battery tray for intercooler piping. Looking for someone with and 80mm hole saw piece or around that size to cut me a hole. Buying a holesaw piece isnt cheap and I'm only going to use it once so I'm putting it out there for someone who has a piece.
I will just go somewhere and get someone to do it at a workshop but I thought someone might like some beer instead.

Sunday afternoon, Monday or Tuesday, otherwise I'll just go get it cut.

You could use a hole saw...

You would be better off finding someone who has an air saw.

I would, But im not on the sunshine coast. If you have a drill hole saws are only about $18-19 for a 80mm and probly 15 bucks for an arbor for it.

I couldnt find any that cheap. $49 plus arbor

Decent will be 50 for the arbor and 25 ish for the saw.

Just buy the saw piece, use it, then take it back and say you picked up wrong size and ask for refund?

Beware the cheap hole saw- they may be alright for wood but are fucking useless for metal, the teeth literally fall off the cheaper ones.
Grinder with a worn(small) cutting wheel can give a good result if you have a steady hand, or the jigsaw is a good option.

draw your hole size where your puting it then get a drill bit drill all the way round bout 2mm apart and the just hit it out with a hammer

if you run ur intercooler piping through the battery tray.obviously ur battery wont be there.so cut the tray out all together

Or you can just cut a hole through your battery aswell. The water in the battery will help to cool the inlet temperatures even more.
