BA MK2 XR6 Turbo Ute. 80,000km. Std bottom end....


Was gunna wait till i finish it etc, but eh looks good enough now.. Current wheels are sold, got defected for the fronts sitting outside the guards. Shit like that happens when you chuck 9.5's on the front of a falcoon. Rollin round on 17" fairlane rims till wednesday.


Engine:
Ford 4L Inline 6

Exhaust:
Custom built by Brad @ Prodyno
Xforce 4" dump and hiflow cat
Mandrel bent 3.5" through to a hiflow 3.5" muffler then out the right side where the XR6 badge was
Running a restrictor plate to keep boost @ 14psi.

Suspension:
Lowered front and rear by pedders.
Heavy duty rear swaybar
Camber kit

Wheels:
Were - 18x9.5 starcorps.
Now - 17x8 Fairlane Ghia
On wednesday - 19x8.5 Koya inox R1's. Swapped em for the 18's.

Modifications:
Xcal 3 flashbox
Performance Valvesprings
Bosch 968 injectors
Bosch 044 inline pump
Rapid V3 intercooler kit
Custom Exhaust
12psi wastegate actuator
NPC 5 puck brass button clutch
Respray thanks to some niggers
HID Globes
Autometer Cobalt Gauges - Boost, Oil Pressure, Volts, Air/Fuel.


Stereo Audio / Visual:
iPhone cord

Estimated Power:
462rwhp on 14psi with afr's of 11.0
Does a good skid.

    Looks good, never been a fan of starcorps so IMO it looks alot better with the koya's. Perfect ride height too thumbsup.gif

    hey mate,
    isn't it illegal to have the exhaust in front of the rear wheels unless the car is pre 1985??
    or do you only use for track??
    nice ride bud... hope you smoke heaps of shitty holdens laugh.gif

    10 points for a trick ride mate! and im pretty sure the exaust out the side is ok in utes as long as its a certain distance behind the door, i am currently looking into doing the same to my ute.

    Yep, i've only ever seen 1 other falcon ute with it. And it was an XR8 with twin round pipes out the side in WA. 99% sure i'm the first turbo to do it..

    Yeah, think straight through RB but meatier..

    Can't really hear it once it comes on boost though. Spool kinda takes over.

    How much did you spend purely getting that power figure? I've got a newfound love for xr6t's, considering it for my opens but that's another year and a half so might go bf mk2.

    I'll be at powercruise. Just gotta fix a few things.

    Gave it a royal flogging on the weekend and found a few issues.

    New throttlebody is on my desk and an oil cooler kit is on its way from rapidsystems.

    2 forced engine shutdowns from a faulty TAC sensor and a limp mode from oil overheat/faulty oil temp sensor..


    Silver bogandore in the last pic makes 496hp (owned by a forum member). Door to door with it..
