lol orange beast is stock as unde the hood - and waiting on lock tabs so i can put the turbo/mani back on... if it makes it to the track it will spend its time ripple strip jumping with me trying to control it :dunno:

silvia blew the clutch slave cyl last week, n it is getting rebuilt hopefully this week.... but even so, it wont go on the track yet due to it running a little lean at the top end - not keen on blowing that one up yet!!

thats why dan bought the lorry, so he could have some fun and not worry about blowing/crashing it - but suprisingly enough the lorry is actually fairly quick, n pulls pretty hard too - he just took forever to fine tune the suspension on sunday. but for the first time out in a car he has own maybe 3-4 wks, plus he hasnt seen a track in over 2yrs - he was happy with his results
oh and it wouldve been good if he had of at least had an option of a handbrake too - but oh well, next time! :P

Oh so he brought the Lori. Its a good car that and is pretty dam quick for what it is. I mean its only SR LOL so not that quick but a good car to throw around with out a care in the world. He did pretty well and had some balls i will give him that.

Cant wait to see him progress. Let him know he did well.

Even Laurie said he has alot of potential.

nah we need a r33 series 1 - too hard to find so just getting it rebuilt which is only about $50 anyway

I know it looks a bit slow... but most of us were coming in at about 90 - 100kmh with hand brake, I was coming in at about 85-90kmh, with clutch kick in second, will be trying 3rd from now on, 2nd was too slow. :)

definately come in at third mate. Scando it and back to second if you dont have the power but it should be able to pull through third saving an additional gear change in the middle of the corner.
