I really didnt think the wheel bases would be too different between single cab and extra cab. Why would a "longer body pose any problems when going down in small gullys and up steep hills"????? Hilux is a top ute and a top 4x4, id buy one, and if i did i would go extra cab too. |

I dont see how heavier = better flex? It just equala flogged out saggy and bouncy springs. how you drive it. ^^^ That is the single most important part, its about knowing your vehicle and driving to suit the terrain AND the setup of the car. Which is why when twist stops being a faggot and keeps the 80, and i eventually go wheeling with him.....i will keep up with him. And snatch his shitty heavy toyota out of everything. |

88-97 shape extra cabs have a larger wheel base than the single and dual cabs, i did measure it one day an its quite a bit bigger than a surf wheelbase aswell |

mate there is nothing wrong with the space cab's personally the rear seats are useless but for 1 person its ok cause they can put there feet accross the seats also another upside is the aftermarket parts available for hilux's are huge.. |

Gen 3 space cabs will mostly be IFS also, Live axle ones do exist but they are extremely rare and I have only heard of one. I have never actually seen one. |
