its funny to see that everyone giving efi a wrap for Dans torana when they have not built one thing on the car!
Dan has done everything on it himself,
all efi has done is a tune and now they claim the car as there promo car what a joke

Dan has been buliding his car well before efi were around

IMO it is one of the best fabrication and engineered cars in town ,

Dan has put a lot of time and effort into his car and it is an absolute credit to HIM not efi

Hahaha, Are you serious? Do you have any idea what it takes to make a combination like that work? Hundreds of power runs and development with pressure drops, temps, egts, pipe sizing, back pressure....... The list goes on.
No one would ever claim Dans torana to be 100% EFI Built, and Dans car was definitely not just dropped off at EFI for a tune, and it definitely didn't spit out 600+ rwhp straight away. The car has been there several times, every time testing and changing things until the combination worked. Dan has had the the external bolt ons off more times than he would like to remember.

I tell you what. Go grab yourself a 1J, run the numbers that dan is at the track, then by all means i may listen to what you have to say.

if u have to do a hundred runs to make 650 out of a 1j with cams big turbo and a fuck load of gas go sumwhere else. cool car mate not sayen it isnt and the guy who owns it is a good fella to i rember he was builden it when i worked at hardcore when him and paulie used to do your welding and b4 u say anything bout how hard it is to make power like that my supra makes 675hp 23psi 50/50 pump meth NO GAS STOCK MOTOR.

Sorry I retract my statement, it was only 60 ish power runs, over about 8 months. Changing Intercooler, Exhaust manifold, dump pipe size, wastegate location, cooler end tanks, etc. And every time, making more horse power, not by guessing but by measuring.

There is no argument that your supra makes that power racer83, that's awesome, maybe you should get a stock 1j and just jam heaps of gas in it and show em how its really done

Wow this thread exploded.

From what I have to say, we acknowledge all the hard work "Daniel Bushnell" has done with this car LC 1JZ, why we continue to support him at the track and events he attends.

YES, we didn't build the car, Yes we didn't weld or fabricate anything on the car, Massive credit to Dan and Derek Johnson for all there long hours and hard work, same with Matty (Kustom FX) who spent hours upon hours painting it.

All in all not many people have worked or seen this car, we are just very proud and honored to be working together with Dan to credit such a gorgeous car on and off the track.
