Yay, lucky i got the heads up from my editor to post some of the shots from the mercury dyno day yesterday, check out a full feature with the best images in an upcoming issue of Performance Imports Magazine some "hot" shots for sure so dont forget to check it out when it hits the stands, and while your there get a copy of Extreme, Zoom, and all the other mad Express titles.

    AWESOME shots as always Dave!! A big THANKYOU for your time, I know it was a very, very long day!

    RESULTS were as follows:

    Winner - Holden - Rick's Torana with 659.1rwhp
    Winner - Toyota - Mark's Supra with 424.3rwhp
    Winner - Mitsubishi - Tuan's EVO 8 with 596.0awhp
    Winner - Subaru - Brad's Liberty with 354.1awhp
    Winner - Mazda - Adrian's 626 (13BT) with 410.1rwhp
    Winner - Ford - Lee's XR6T ute with 504.7rwhp
    Winner - Nissan - Graham's S15 with 899rwhp (had issues and still made this power!)
    Winner - Overall HP - Graham's S15!

    Congrats to all the winners and thankyou to all entrants and spectators for making it the event that it was!

    Thanks also to all the other photographers there, taking wicked pics of our event.

    We had 39 cars on the rollers for the day, the first rolling on at 9:15 and the last (S15) was at 6:15...

    all i can say is wait till you see the good shot of the flames out the back of the r35 full shot and more flames its hot !!!!!!!!!!! hotter than julia gilard and rudds secret movie !

    np tess the mercury dyno days always seem to bring out some awesome cars scary when you think 80% made around the 500 hp mark so thats pretty good.

    dont forget to check out the full feature !

    gfunk i think its pretty easy to put the 1j -2j in toranas i see it quite a bit dans is a top job come along way since i first saw it years ago, runs 133 mph as well i believe !

    YEP, that shot is amazing! Mark is in love with it <3 We def. need to get a poster or two of it too! Gillard & Rudd? Ewwwwww!

    It was great to get different cars in as well that weren't at the last one - got to keep the variety up...

    Np Foy couldnt imagine shooting 24 mm on a 1.6 crop in a dyno room i barely fit it in with the 16mm lol. Saw some of your shots came out mad as. Is there any of the fish eye on matya 5d ?

    The 35 GTR put down about 590Hp @ the wheels I am pretty sure?

    Hahaha yeah I usually have the 17-50 for nice and wide.. but you know sad.gif
    I think I did see some of the fisheye when I was around his house that afternoon.
    Fullframe + 15mm fisheye is SOOO FUCKING WIDE.

    The R35 made 591 HP at the wheels that day.I think they tied it down a little too firmly though. It made 637hp the previous day though thumbsup.gif

    Great pictures yet again Dave.

    Cheers and congratulations to Trent and co for there efforts yesterday, epic day we had a ball.

    Just to clear things up.

    The purple LC Torana is a STOCK TOYOTA 1JZ (EFI Performance promotional car) has standard bottom end, cams and cylinder head, un-open motor. Owner Daniel Bushnell has backed up the HP running 11.1@140mph it's first time out then on good friday ran 10.53@143mph (its manual).

    A special mention all all winners in there classes, TOP EFFORT, some really nice cars/HP.

    Thanks again looking forward to the next D/day.
