Engine: 5.7 LS1

Exhaust: Pacemaker 4-1 headers, stainless cats, (twin) 3" X-Force

Suspension: Standard FE2 aqll round, with SL Kings in the rear

Wheels: 19" chrome with white walls

Modifications: 228/230 Comp Cam, PAC valve springs, polished OTRCAI, MAFless tune, 3500rpm Dominator convertor, 3.7:1 KAAZ LSD, Harrop diff cover, painted engine covers, polished billet caps thru out bay,

Stereo Audio / Visual: Now how does that make you go faster???

Estimated Power: 273rwkw (367rwhp), 12.2 @ 112mph

Just thought i would throw up a thread on my VZ. I bought it bog stock about 18 months ago. Since then, ive done all of the above mods. Ihave just fitted up a 3.7:1 KAAD diff, so that should drop it down to a very low 12, hopefully. Has gone a best of 12.5 @ 109mph so far, on shitty 17" semi slicks with 3.07:1 gearing.

Enjoy

    A terrible assumption.
I know enough about them, I just don't like them.
Real driving will always involve a clutch pedal for me.

3500rpm stally, tuned gearbox and a 400+HP V8. Seems like fun to me...

looks a treat, i'm sure it would have a great tune to it.
all you tossers that feel the need to comment on the chev badges, do your homework.

Nice. Done well to get that sort of power out of it. Not a fan of the chev badges (Yeah its a chev engine, but the car's still made by holden... that's like putting Buick badge on a V6 VN-VR or a Nissan badge on a VL or better still a Volvo badge on a XR5 Ford Focus)

Yea i know its not a Chevy, but i like the chrome ont he Chev grilles better then the plain Holden grille. Thats why i put it on there. If they did a Holden one with the chrome bar, then i would get one in a flash.

And yes it is an auto. If it was a manual, it would be flat out doing low 13's.... Where is the fun in that? And im a lazy @#$!. Although there is a few times where i wish it was a manual. Mainly during the twistie mountain runs.

I havnt lowered it becuase the standard FE2 suspension is great for drag racing. I have a set of SSSL VS (IRS) springs sitting here that i will chuck in one day. But until my other project is going, this will be used for Willowbank duties, so ill keep the FE2 for now.

    Brad (HYP09).... Whos pumba???? tongue.gif

GTRwilson.... You gotta get your car going first fucker

H41ry.... I know where you live fucker

Thought about boosting it, but i have bought a HG Kingswood to build up for a weekend toy. Original plans were to bolt on a GT42r, and get more serious with drag racing. But if i break it, im stuffed, as its my daily driver. So thats why i bought the HG.

Thanks. Been out to Willowbank a few times recently. Running consistant 12.2's. Cant complain to much about that, considering i drive it to work the next day lol.
