Anything can be used as a drifter. get your hands on a cheap gemini or something and drift the shit out of it while you hunt down something better

R31 skyline with a turbo convertion. 5k max
s13 4-10k max depending on condition
r32 skyline 3k-9k depending on condition.

basicly any RWD car will be good for drift.

The cheapest i've seen anyone get a drift car (and do good) is shane in his VL, i think he got out there in the begining for under 3k. But he has put heaps of time into that car and its not road registered.

I know of a r31 for sale with a rb30 turbo motor done and running fine. Goes pretty good from what i been told and i think its got some kind of a locked diff. He is selling for under 2k. I was going to look at it but might be leaving Darwin so no point buying another car i will need to sell on or ship south in a few months.

A night drift on the 17th of april is up in the air, we need to get atleast 12 people 99% confirmed before we will run the event and need to know by friday.

It will be on the back section so you will need experience.

Yes there is i got my skyline for 4k put 2 into it and was extremely competitive in the drift scene. So yes.



This i disagree on. IMO the back section is the easiest section of the track as its all free flowing and smooth transitions. The entry is the only thing that can go wrong.

Its high speed, so not really good for the first time out, plus its a tandem comp.

you will be fine mate. Its easy to drift the back section.

Yeah they actually have a gravel trap now not a wet grassy field so everyone should be fine.. lol.

Which goes back to my original post stating the only thing that can really go wrong if you have an idea how to drive and that is the entry. Ben came in to hot and to late.



If i had a car Darren i would be there you know that mate. I want to take that title out but i am just not in the financial position to buy yet.

The night drift on the 17th has been canned. It will be a normal drift day on the 18th.

We didnt end up with enough entrants this time, there will be a night drift just not this time.

We are still going to have some kinds of a competition on sunday though, just no crowd.

Droped the r32 off at htt today so looks like ill be back up on the weekend of the 18th to pick it up and will be out at the track to have some fun, woo woo!
