    That looks sweet, i'd be there for sure if it was in NSW. I know a couple of others that would be keen to give it a crack too, but one of them has a 1.8 DOHC from a Lantra with 90kW ATWs. Might not meet the class rules .

    That's pretty strange that you have pretty much built your car to sprint series rules without even knowing them!

    How much was the cage if you don't mind me asking?

    Also, is it street legal being bolt in? Or do you take it out for street use?

    Yeah i know, but this one started life as a single camer and i swapped engines. Not sure weather i'l keep the 1.5 long term or go 2L though.
    The cage was from Bond Rollbars in Sydney. I think they sell a basic six point bolt in for $850 plus GST & postage. Mine was about $1300 and its abit more comprihensive. $136 for each extra bar.

    The twincam conversion is pretty straight foward.
    Twincam bits required: ECU, Engine Loom, Engine (dir), Driverside engine mount, Top Radiator hose, Exhaust manifold and Engine pipe up to the cat. (I just brought a wreck which had 159000kms on it, sold the ricer wing and kit, ended up costing me $150 for the conversion. We also gave the engine a birthday before it went in, new cam belt, tensioner bearing, idler bearing, rear main seal, oil, filters etc.)
    2 of the 3 connectors off the engine loom plug straight into the body loom. The 3rd, you just buy a gregory's manual, jot down the like wires and connect them up.

    It still gets rediculous fuel economy even when driven as hard as you can go. We did 250kms at Eastern Creek in a day and used 30L it was our first time their and were lapping around the 2:07-9 mark.
    It ran strong all day with air temps in the low 40's and 61deg track temp. We have a temp gun thumbsup.gif
    Oh forgot, i use;
    QFM A1RM pads
    PBR BF600 Fluid
    Stock Rotors and drums.

    Bigger brakes are in the shed.
