Good job man, looks great. Nice to see more hondas doing it right. Even though you can fit a 205 tire on 8in +25 on a civic, 195 is the size you would want to go for the height of your car. I just wish you had waited to find some real wheels - I'm sure you will in due time ![]() next tyre will we 175 ..only used 195 because i had em lying around other wise i would of got smaller..no way would i use a 205 tyre hole point of hella flush is just that....to be flush.....and what do you mean "real wheel" ? iv been looking around for decent 8s for a good 12 months and finally settled on these.... they are genuine O.G axis from U.S.A which is fitting as the build is USDM focused..thanks for your input mate ![]() |

Ive had quite a few flush setups on mine. Two ways to do it - Higher offset with a bigger tire that still fits flush (+25 is pretty high/safe fitment on EG/EK really), or lower offset with a smaller tire. Width also plays a part, but i wont go into that here. At +25 8in, using a 175 tire would be silly, as you will lose your flushness. The tire will be brought right away from the guards, and the only way to get closer would be to lower the car, which will make the wheel camber in further and you lose your flush fitment further. Stick with the 195/50 imo. By the looks of the car you are still running stock camber arms? Keep them, no need for camber kits with your wheel specs. And sorry to say, Axis are a replica/copy brand, much like rota. The Axis oldschools are a one piece copy of Work equip 03 (3 piece wheel). See the bolts on your wheels? they aren't actually bolts, just there for decoration. These are the originals ![]() Like i said, your car will evolve - the axis wheels are excellent to learn about fitment and what works and what doesn't. I really do like your car man, I'm just being a nitpicking bastard. Must be getting old ![]() |

All you're going to do is pull the tyre in further from the guard which is unneeded since your width+offset is hardly wide/low enough to need it. Here is a photo of a 15x8 +25 with a 205 50 15 tyre. ![]() Imo go a 205 if you can, if not dump it more and get some spacers so you're still flush (will camber in alot lowering more) Decent wheels arn't hard to come by you just need to know where to look (overseas). Japan is a goldmine champ. |

Perfect fitment, fuck the haters, go smaller tyres, stretch the shit outta them and get some more stickers on that lip! Love it. You say perfect fitment, then you go on to say get smaller tires? make up your mind dude. You clearly have no idea and have alot to learn, stop being a bandwagon rider. Its funny how you try and hide behind the 'fuck the haters' excuse. I am far from a hater, I love a flush setup more than anyone - Its just I have tried enough setups on civics to know what works and what doesn't. I'm offering real experiences here, anyone can choose to take it or leave it. |

No worries man! There is only one way to really learn, and that is to go and try it, but id just hate for you to go and spend some coin on 175 tires only to be disapponted in the outcome you know?. 195/50 with 5mm spacers sounds spot on to me |
