Looks like you were all having a ball, will have some photos up soon for you guys.

Post #471

only 5.7 seconds spread in the whole field, not bad.
no other categories could boast such close times I dont think.

Beannie
Post #472

72.44 for first time out, not bad :) can improve, just need to sort camber i think :thumbsup: the brand new tyres are thinning on the outside already!

TIME FOR A VOTE

At this stage the rules dont allow for sway bar upgrades.
One of the cars curently has larger bars, which it had before we started this series.

I think it will probably benefit the cars to allow sway bar upgrades, whats the general consensus ?

Looked like you guys were having a ball on the 3rd wet session :)
I think i saw 3 front rite indicators missing and 2 rear lefts

So who's is the one that sounds like a motorbike engine ? And what have they done
to the engine ? Larger cams ?

you could make a quote from a fellow competitor and spectators point of view.

OK guys i have looked into the swaybars and the guys running the bigger ones reckon that they are a great improvement.

SO you can now upgrade to 18mm swaybars front and rear - non adjustable !
I have amended the rules to suit.

front strut brace not permitted.
rear strut towers can only be tied together as part of the roll cage.

Cheers Jeff

i am genuinely surprised how much of a beating they are handling :tunes:

are they the kumho ku36?? if so where can i get tehm for $110?? is that fitted and balanced??

trackattack
Post #488

Approved tyres.

* Normal road tyres of any brand
* Khumo KU36 (180 treadwear)
* Achilles 123 (220 treadwear)
* Bridgestone re001 (220 treadwear)
* Federal 545EVO (240 treadwear)

plus any road tyre with a treadwear above 200 with a retail price less than $300 is also approved.
but check first if your not sure !

At this stage the Federal 595 RSRis not approved due to it being marketed as a semi slick and concerns about running costs due to the 140 treadwear. We have one car currently running these tyres which he will be permitted to continue to do in the interim.

NISMOgemini
Post #489

hey jeff, what does the "treadwear" number mean/relate to?? tread depth?

Ok Team ANA keep both ther cars together in one piece, mind you lost it coming onto the straight full 360 smacked it back into second and off I went no dents or scrathes lol. I have more fun driving these excels than my 2 GTR's. :tunes: Bring on round 3.
